3-Star Hotels in Fukuoka

Very nice hotel conveniently located near JR station. Situated inside a big shopping mall with lots of stores and great foods. Walking distance to river front with nice views and lots of activities at night. Overall great experience. Just stayed too short. Should have stayed longer.

Room was slightly dusty and very small, even smaller than it seemed. The hotel itself was also quite loud and the shower in the bedroom made it very difficult to move around. However the staff were polite and friendly

Clean hotel which is very convenient. It is just a few minutes away from the train station, and there is a bus stop just outside the hotel that goes along Watanabe Dori street.

Location was great, very close to eateries, close to subway and also train and bus station to outskirts of Fukuoka. Parco, muna, and other department store are also nearby. Room was OK, manageable for 2 with 2 large suitcases. TV channels are all in Japanese, but u don't watch TV on holiday anyway. Bathroom and amenities were great, they provide free amenities in the lobby. Lounge were nice, though only coffee is provided, but it's good to just sit and sip coffee. The view from my room was Ritz Carlton, so u feel like staying there.. 😝😝

Lovely place, can be found with Google maps. I'd advise calling the hotel for directions as it's easy to miss if you're not looking out. Great hotel service, always ready to help even when they don't understand what you're saying. I don't speak Japanese, so being able to get all I needed without bending over backward was great. They also offer nice breakfast buffet, and light dinner. I'd definitely return to the same hotel. It's also a nice location for self tours, easy shrine trails, museums, parks, markets, and other fun sites. Also very near to the subway, so there was no need to book a taxi.

Tokyu Stay Hakata is located around 5-10mins walk from the Hakata Station, making it in a convenient location. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The room is also of a decent size for Japan’s standard. The service at the reception is also very good and they can communicate very well in english and helpful. No drinking water was provided in the room and apparently you can drink from the tap if you are ok with that. There is a Family Mart nearby anyway, if you want to get bottled drinking water. The main problem we had was that there is a train track next to it, so everytime the train passed by, there’s the noise. Definitely going to be an issue for light sleepers. The train is from 5am-midnight. They can provide ear plug when requested.  The breakfast was very basic and the same for the 2 days we were there.

The location is great, within 6 minutes walk from Hakata Station. The hotel has a wide lobby where you can sit down and have a hot beverage. They also serve bread like croissants.The room is small but they had good service. My photo shows a famous bread shop near the hotel at Heart Bus Station building. The queue was real long.

Good location, just 5 mins from hotel to metro station. Lots of food shops near hotel, especially the self-service drink machine in hotel, you can use it unlimited as you want during open time. I’m surprised the breakfast is so diverse and delicious, lots of food you can choose! I’ll be back definitely! Highly recommended!

The staff very accommodating, polite and helpful throughout our entire stay. Even the room maid, she is friendly and politely. There are many restaurants on the street where the hotel is located, also the most closer metro station is Tenjin South. The location is very convenient. Overall, this is a nice hotel and our stay was enjoyable.

Good: The location is great, close to Tenjin district, to subway and railway station. Many good restaurants around. I like the shared kitchen very much, all kinds of cookware are available. Staffs are helpful, speak fluent English. Bad: I booked the Studio Corner room which has the balcony. The balcony is large, but I didn't use it at all. The room and washroom are quite small. I can hardly put anything in the wash basin area.
