I would recommend this hotel.
Cleanliness.
Stable Wi Fi.
Friendly and helpful staff.
The breakfast is ok and costs 8.5 EUR.
The gym is small, although it has all the necessary equipment (a reservation is necessary at the reception).
But.
There was no water a full day commencing morning time, so I was unable even to clean my teeth.
The housekeeper lady just entered my room without knocking in the morning.

The hotel is in Lido area with plenty of restaurants and small super markets near by. Only 3 mins walk to bus top where can bring you to City Center €1.95 single one way and airport. €5 single one way, €8 return. Walking to City center is about 20-30mins. Only 10mins walk to Forum Madeira shopping mall. Breakfast is good with many choices of fruit, salad, yogurt, ham, eggs, bread, cereals. Indoor, outdoor pool and gym are nice too. We stay in sea and swimming pool view studio with kitchenette. The balcony is wonderful.
Staffs are polite and patient. Only one con, no air conditioning in 31 degrees. Only have a ceiling fan.

wow best location and great apartment to stay, lot of restaurants around and things to do. studio flat has the best view from the top. staff were friendly and brekafst has some many options to eat. indoor outdoor swimming pool and gym facilities were good to use and free for everyone. recommended and definitely will stay again there.

Everything is great for this price category.
A great breakfast for a 3-star hotel. A kitchen where you can cook a delicious dinner from excellent products. A strong hood, no smells, even if you treat yourself to fish. A balcony with a gorgeous view, where you can relax with a magnificent view of the sea and the shining fire of Mount Monte. . Cleaning every day. The area is wonderful. Down the street there is a promenade along the ocean, a gorgeous huge supermarket, greenery, cafes... I recommend it.
Yes, the hotel is old, everything is a little shabby, but the pros outweigh the cons, considering the cost of all this.
