Fantastic hotel in the very center of Funchal! The room exceeded all expectations. In reality it is better than in the photo. The room had everything you need (even an equipped kitchen). Very clean, just perfect cleanliness and cleaning. Friendly and helpful staff. I definitely recommend these apartments. I would definitely stay at Apartamentos Turisticos Atlantida on my next visit to Madeira (I really want to believe that sooner or later I will come to this wonderful island again).

A short walk from restaurants, the promenade and a great supermarket,. These apartments are in a very central location. We received a friendly greeting and we're shown to a room with a great view of the mountains from the small balcony. It was very quiet and was well equipped with a good kitchen. It was clean and comfortable although the bed was a little firm for us. A cooked breakfast was available for a reasonable price..

This was our second stay at the Atlantida and was every bit as good as the first time. We stayed here at the begining of Dec just in for all the Christmas lights which are glorious.We stayed in a superior studio on the third floor with beautiful views up to Monte. The apartment was spacious with everything you could need if you wanted to self cater but we stayed bed and breakfast. The apartment was cleaned on a daily basis. There was a good choice for breakfast. .Atlantida is in a quite street within a short walk of the centre of Funchal and a park where there is a lovely cafe perfect for an afternoon drink. There is also a shopping centre a short walk away perfect for shopping if selfcatering.I would highly recommend these apartments and can't wait to return.

Stayed at the apartments for the second time, looking forward to some winter warmth! They are in the centre of Funchal and very handy for all the shops and restaurants. Staff are very friendly. We had a one bedroom apartment which was comfortable and extremely quiet. Kitchen cutlery and china could be updated as glasses don’t match! However, wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Excellent location! Close to town.(in the evening a 2 minute stroll took us to the Bar in the Municipal Gardens - which is gorgeous!). Private, everything you needed. The cooking facilities were compact, but allowed us to buy new fruits and veg and fish at the main market and experiment. Close by are a lot of good restaurants for when we ate out. Lovely view inland. Balcony for sitting and eating...or drinking! Staff very helpful. Only minor quibble is that they don't defrost their fridges! Would happily stay there again.
