AMAZING location, perfect for exploring Funchal, close to the harbour, buses, taxis, promenade, restaurants and the old city area. Supermarket within walking distance and lovely to be so close to all the culture of the old city, but overlooking an extremely quiet but pretty square. Apartment is functionally furnished, quite basic, but everything you'd need for your stay. Bed was extremely firm but I didn't find it difficult to sleep! Friendly greeting on arrival and helpful list of places to eat and local supermarkets.

We have stayed at this wonderful place for 7 nights and enjoyed every minute (Studio # 5 third floor, you can see it in the photo) : Great strategic location (close to all attractions ; spacey comfortable and well lit studio ; elevator ; comfy huge bed and mattress ; extremely quiet ; amazingly clean ; well equipped small kitchen ; many restaurants within steps ; a grocery store one minute away ; nice , neat modern decor ; and above all - easy and friendly welcoming by Alexandra . Staying here really made our vacation in Madeira one of the best vacations we had in a long time . We left it 48 hours ago and we already miss it ! Highly recommended !!!!!
