MAA Thundi

The bed size and room space is very comfy and spacious!! I have never sleep in such big twin beds room, and their bed and pillow is so fluffy. I like they everyday room cleaning and change new fresh towels, very attentive staffs as well! The food is tasty and staffs are friendly. Environment is chill and nearby have the best Sunset viewpoint Thundi Beach also! Kudos to Priya who is Always so friendly n helpful ☺️ highly recommend the Maathundi Hotel

Had a fantastic stay at Maa Thundi! The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The rooms were always clean and comfortable. It’s also great for sunset watching as the beach is nearby. Perfect for a relaxing diving getaway. Highly recommend!

The bed is so comfortable. Food is typical Maldivian food. All staff are so friendly and nice. Diving experience is good too. Their dive crew at shark expedition fuhvahmulah is so helpful and nice. A good to go place. Will definitely recommend my friends to go there

Amazing hotel with big, comfy beds, super friendly staff, and spotless rooms. The restaurant is fantastic, serving delicious food. The pool area is perfect for relaxing, and the hotel is well-maintained. If you’re into scuba diving, the hotel can arrange transport to the harbor. Highly recommend!

The whole package at Maa Thundi is excellent. I went as a non-diver with a group of divers. The team at Maa Thundi were extremely caring and thoughtful. There are many to thank for making my stay so enjoyable, but I will name a few who were exceptional - Priya and Ibaan (Reception), Vinny and Rasel (restaurant) and the rest of the restaurant team. The food was very good. My husband has a food allergy and the restaurant manager guided him at every meal to avoid the foods to which he was allergic. He was extremely attentive. Our room was cleaned everyday and the beds were huge! Every member of the team was friendly and always had a smile. I watched a family going about their daily life from the top floor of the hotel. They turned out to be Coco's family (the co-owner I think). So interesting. My husband dived with SharkExpedition. They were an exceptional team who were very professional and safety conscious. My husband would like to thank Richard and his team and especially the Professor and Grazi. They made it a holiday of a life time. The island isn't what you would expect the Maldives resorts to be. Fuvahmulah is a local island which has kept its identity with few tourist attractions, no big hotels or thatched villas over the sea. One can actually see how the locals live from day to day.
