Banyan Family Hotel (Sanfang Qixiang Branch)

Pros: Newly renovated and comfortable room; very convenient location, just opposite Sanfanqixiang and a large shopping mall; less than 10min to the subway. Room for Improvement: 1. In a run-down building with no signage below that the reception was on the 5th floor. We went up to the 6th floor (where the hotel address indicated) and couldn't find the reception. 2. Window sound proofing was poor, we booked a city facing room (faces the main street) and ended up changing to a quieter room at the back. 3. Lack of privacy curtain (thin white layer). In the morning, we couldn't draw the curtain open to let some sunshine in as our window was facing another hotel within close proximity. Total lack of privacy if we open curtains. Overall it is value for money if your expectations aren't too high.

Good location, helpful and friendly staff. Glad I stayed here!

location is good near touristy lanes, room size average, tiolet too small, beddings wise is acceptable, hotel building is an abandoned building which is quite scary... food easily available around nearby.
