We stayed at Reserva del Mar (Airbnb) and its an excellent choice, far from noice but close to stores and supermarkets. the beach is ok not great but intead has and amazing pool and jacuzzis at the top of the building (floor 19) it has a restaurant inside of the building which is ok but good food, quiet and very nice done. there are a construction for torre 4 but never heared any noise. Total yes

El mejor lugar para quedarse en Santa Marta, en un barrio exclusivo y alejado del ruido del centro. Dentro de Reserva del Mar hay piscinas en terrazas con una vista inigualable del horizonte, salones de juegos, gimnasio, bbq y otras zonas elegantes y exclusivas. Me alojaré allá todas las veces que vaya a Santa Marta.

Aunque es la típica reserva de apartamento donde debes comprar cosas para poder pasar la estadía, al final debes tener en cuenta el checkout a las 11 am y que al no ser hotel no tienes opción de guardar el equipaje o disfrutar de las instalaciones como si sucede en hotel cuando tienes vuelo posterior a la entrega. Alquilar apartamentos aparentemente es mas económico, pero si la idea es descansar, pues debes preparar y asear tu mismo, debes considerarlo, adicional si no tienes tu propio transporte es complicado mercar en algún lugar que brinde variedad y economía y debes someterte al mercado de la unidad donde no es económico aunque consigas lo necesario. Por lo demás al igual que todo Santa Martha debes ser prevenido en contratar los servicios adicionales. Porque siempre quieren cobrarte de más, desde el taxi hasta los servicios turísticos en los que hay que tener presente la seguridad, porque es muy deficiente y aunque es desafortunado decirlo no permiten disfrutar las vacaciones como deberían ser y lo que se puede ahorrar respecto a un buen hotel habría qie evaluarlo costo vs. Servicio, donde puede ser igual o relativamente menor. Los costos de la ciudad son otra cosa, aunque la experiencia turística se torna desagradable cuando la ciudad no ofrece atractivos seguros, reglamentados y organizados
