another fantastic stay. This is our fourth visit to this amazing hotel staff still friendly and hard-working at dinner times and evening meals . The maids cleaning our room friendly and polite. Betty at the annexe adult area was always pleasant and helpful . We had a swim up room wonderful for the fourth time, still couldn’t fault it . viewers are still amazing. Food was good and the drink too . We got back to England on the 20 August. And went to tui on the 21 August. To booked the Holiday again for 15 August 2025 for two weeks in the swim up room again . Hope we get room 2010 see you again next year ❤️

Just come back from a bit of winter sun and staying at this hotel, and I was overall really impressed with the hotel. Positives - The sun lounger and pool bar area are superb. No fighting for any beds, perfect sun trap, and extremely relaxing. - The food - 90% of what we ate was delicious. Granted some of the food wasn’t to my liking, but that was out of personal preference. There’s so many different options to choose from, and the different themes each night kept our taste pallets fresh. - The staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us - Whether having our room cleaned entirely each day, having a golf cart driving us to our room with our luggage, or the little shop selling everything for really reasonable prices. - The drinks are great - Yes half of the menu you have to pay for, and I would’ve liked a pint glass as opposed to a 300ml glass for my beer, but the cocktails and mixers were really strong. - Bedrooms were comfortable overall. The only slight room for improvements… - The bathrooms do need refurbishing, didn’t bother me too much as I didn’t really spend a lot of time in the room, but flicking the water pressure onto the shower was a challenge each day. Hairdryers are very dated. - The entertainment wasn’t that good at night - Only part for me which didn’t feel like a 5* experience Overall, amazing location, the beach next door was beautiful, the scenery is breathtaking, and really easy to get to Chania town via a bus (€1.60 each way) if you did fancy a day out. Would highly recommended this hotel to anyone

The Leptos Panorama offers a panoramic view across the Sea of Crete from its spectacular elevated position. We were lucky enough to stay in the newly built studios which look out to the island of Agii Theodori. The stunning views are the icing on the cake for guests lucky enough to stay at the Leptos Panorama. The hotel is immaculate, superb staff on hand at all hours, a shop, gym, sauna and handy lift to take guests from the cliff top to the beach road below. We stayed bed and breakfast. Breakfast offered a huge choice of Greek and European hot and cold food - Greek pastries and Cretan honey especially welcome. Staff went the extra mile to make guests' stays memorable - champagne, chocolate covered fresh fruit and a card for our 25th wedding anniversary delivered to our room, was so kind and a lovely surprise. The hotel is about 4km from Chania old town - get the bus, run every 15 minutes and costs €1.60 one way - buy the tickets from the hotel shop. Chania is breathtaking, a real Mediterranean treasure. Leptos Panorama is a great base for a cracking holiday. Enjoy!

We visited mid-September, and I must start off by noting that the weather was exactly as we hoped - consistent mid-to-late 20s with sun for most parts of the day. Lovely. Our stay was all-inclusive, and we went for the standard sea view room. Now, not all the sea view rooms are really sea view; though, we had a side on view of a mountain landscape and some of the sea in view, so it wasn't bad at all. Rooms... outdated, but fine. But if you're saying you're 5-star you do have to revamp rooms that were clearly built some three decades ago. Location - well situated within a 25-minute bus ride of Chania Old Town. And this really is the hotel's best feature - a stunning location in terms of views, and convenient ways to leave the hotel and explore, which is something many all-inclusive stays don't offer. Now for the negatives.. The food. This unfortunately was really poor - our first experience of the free poolside gyros bar (all inclusive) met us with honestly the worst gyros we've had. Stale bread and even staler meat - whether it was pork or beef, it really was rancid. So that put us off the pool bar all week - until we returned on the last day for a paid club sandwich, that was equally as woeful. The buffet. Some bits of it were fine, but wildly inconsistent. Breakfast was stone cold most days, with poor selection. The issue they have is they employ a very small amount of staff, so there's only one cook-to-order chef, and he doesn't cook to order. He's cooking stuff for the buffet trays mostly, with a few extra meats/eggs. You can't request anything, and this is poor for a 5* buffet. Main issue is health and safety. Do not eat here if you have severe food allergies - I have a severe peanut allergy and on the Chinese night, there were whole peanuts in many dishes. And the worse part, is that the impossible-to-work-out allergy stickers implied that some dishes 'may' include nuts, when they were literally visible in the dishes and salads. Chicken pieces with peanut sauce in an open bowl, said it 'may contain'... Most dishes just said 'may contain' out of laziness - and this of course promotes anxiety and unease for the duration of the stay, when one can't trust what's in the dishes. This is not acceptable for 2024 cuisine - let alone 5* - and to quote Gordon Ramsay in Kitchen Nightmares, '...you're going to kill someone!'. Laziness also continued with the reception staff unfortunately. A few requests of ours were met with disdain - including a request to see if there was anything they could do to make the trip more special, as it was our anniversary. Instead, they said 'go and see the restaurant manager and you can buy some wine'... Not the response expected (we were already on all inclusive...), and was quite rude. Similar with some requests for room service - they do the opposite of 'go the extra mile'. Shoutout to Nikos at the evening bar who seemed to be the only staff member of positive note - and fyi, the evening entertainment is d

Nice holiday but in my opinion not a 5 star hotel. Beautiful views and good location, but far from a 5 star. This hotel is tired and not modern. I booked the “Deluxe Annexe Double Room with Direct Pool Access” which all in all was nice but needs attention, the mirror has a very large stain on it. The hair dryer was very old and broken/repaired, the end comes off every time you use it. The toilet only flushes sometimes. The walls are paper thin being able to hear the neighbours talking - also hearing weird noises throughout the night and early morning which will wake you up. Be warned the patio on this room received barely any sun late September being north facing, therefore you would need to be in the pool all day or use the main pool to get any sun. The food especially at dinner was average, questionable options and quality wise (if your a fussy eater you may struggle with this especially fish night with themes each night) bottled water was somewhat hard to get hold of, having to ask for it several times a day and was not replaced in the room, which came with two bottles in the fridge upon arrival. A small few of the staff also didn't look like they wanted to be there.

Myself and my husband stayed at Leptos Panorama Hotel at the end of August for a 10 day holiday and we loved this amazing hotel! The hotel is situated on a hill in a quiet area and has stunning views of Chania. We upgraded to a superior sea view room which exceeded our expectations when we seen the huge corner balcony we had been lucky enough to get. The room was spacious, there was plenty of wardrobe space for clothes. The room is also cleaned every day with fresh towels provided. There is also a fridge, we were provided with water on arrival. The bed was so big and comfy. They do say that if you leave beach towels in the bathroom they will be changed but we didn’t get fresh ones and asked reception for new ones. We did find the air con in our room was really loud but I sleep with earplugs in anyway so it didn’t bother me too much. We were half board and thought the food in the hotel was good. There is a different theme every night. You don't have to queue at all at meal times. Some days we asked the reception if we could swap dinner for lunch which was no problem. It could get a bit repetitive but we always found something to eat, I actually thought the lunch buffet was better than dinner. A glass of wine was 4 euros and it was a large glass! Soft drinks were also cheap. The pools are also very good, we didn't have a problem finding a sunbed no matter what time we went there. There was aqua aerobics every day and there is usually entertainment on at the hotel every night. I did see some reviews of people complaining about the entertainment but we enjoyed it, we would either watch it from our balcony or down at the pool. Our room looked onto the pool and when our balcony doors were closed it wasn’t that loud. You can get a bus to Chania town right outside the hotel which takes around 30 minutes and only costs 1.50 if you buy a ticket from the shop in the hotel. Special mention to Georgia on reception who was very friendly, professional, helpful and had a good sense of humour  The girls in the hotel shop were too, we were in there every day so got to know them. You get buy almost anything at the shop and it was cheap too. We really couldn't fault this hotel and are already planning our next trip back. THANK YOU! It really is a beautiful hotel and I would recommend it.

My partner and I stayed for a week in September. The hotel is overall was a nice 4 star resort that is suitable for couples, young people and families. Our room was a side sea view which was actually an incredible view. The hotel is directly on the beach so all areas of the hotel have lovely views. Overall the rooms were ok but could have used a bit of an upgrade and the room cleaning wasn’t very good. Our bed sheets didn’t get changed and the floors didn’t get cleaned. I think the only thing they did was make the bed and replace the room towels. The pool is nice and again has a lovely view however biggest let down was the safety of the pool. The pool has lots of broken tiles which could be very dangerous for kids as you can easily cut yourself. The pool towels were also a let down as the hotel policy is that to get fresh pool towels, you have to leave them in your room and the cleaner will replace them when they clean your room however this means that you won’t have a towel round the pool which doesn’t really make sense. The entertainment was nice as it was often live music. The food was really good with a different theme each night and a decent selection. The drinks are nice and the ala carte was also really good. The main reason the hotel is only 4 start is probably the service. Overall the staff weren’t particularly helpful or friendly. Just didn’t really seem too bothered which I think takes away the luxury feel. The hotel is a nice location for views and is across a main road to a pebble beach and a short 5 minute walk from a big sandy beach. The town is about a 25 minute bus ride away and the stop is right outside the hotel so very easy to use. It is €2.5 per person each way which is good as the taxis are expensive in Chania. Overall the hotel is nice and a good option for anyone looking for a nice 4 start resort.
