Charming country house with access to all that the Hudson Valley has to offer! Spacious, light-filled 4 bedroom/2 bathroom house with a huge yard and back deck for BBQing, located next to Lake Taghkanic State Park, 20 minutes to Hudson and Red Hook/Rhinebeck.Enjoy the open floorplan of the dining and living area that are filled with light and open directly to the back deck. We've stocked the bookshelf with games, books, and records for the record player. The master bedroom on the first floor has an en suite bathroom, while three additional bedrooms that can be found on the second floor. We have a wood-burning stove in the living area for a cozy and warm stay by the fire. After a couple hours, the stove will heat the whole house, even on the coldest night.We also have a newly installed salt water hot tub in the backyard, surrounded by a fence with a beautiful view of the wooded area behind the house.The en suite bathroom on the first floor is newly renovated with a shower stall making it more accessible for our guests who have mobility issues.Eat breakfast on the south-facing back deck (or looking out at the big windows when it's cold) with beautiful sunlight overlooking a wooded area that leads down to the Doovekill Creek. If you're feeling brave, you can follow the path down to the creek to find a little piece of paradise surrounded by the sights, sounds, and smells of nature.
