We stayed here in June when it’s low season so it’s not crowded. Staff was super friendly and the pool size is huge facing the sea. In June the waves are really rough so can’t go swim in the ocean. Breakfast and Dinner was amazing, hotel restaurant manager and staff’s service was exceptional. Our room was facing the sea so we get to wake up seeing the ocean. Room was very clean, the only thing is there are lots of spider babies around the sink and closet, also some tiny ants around, everything else is really good. We will definitely come again!!

A sea view hotel with a view of Galle Fort! A hotel I like very much. It is larger and more spacious than the hotels in the old town and has a first-line sea view. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the old town. The sea view outdoor swimming pool is the highlight. It is very comfortable even if you lie there and daydream! The room is considered large in Galle. Although it is a bit old, it is well maintained. Avoid the rooms on the first floor, which are semi-underground...

Very bad attitude! The water and electricity were cut off for two hours, and no one dealt with it. I complained to Ctrip, but they replied that it was a power outage in the entire area. How did other guests stay there? Not sincere at all! In addition, there were three rooms that were not in the hotel, but 200 meters away from the hotel. There was no mention or reminder on the booking interface. Ctrip was also at fault. Who would stay in a place 200 meters away with no service? This is a hotel, not Airbnb.

Very friendly host and his staff. The location is good. A really beautiful villa with all amenities. The best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka (we had 9 hotels). The pool is amazing. The hotel staff swept and cleaned the area every day. But the floor in the room was a bit dusty. Slow breakfast service. The experience of this hotel is average. First of all, the hygiene of the room is average. The bathroom has a bit of smell. Secondly, the towels don't look very clean. I was woken up by mosquito bites in the middle of the night and saw dozens of mosquito bites on my feet. It's really unbearable. I haven't had such a bad experience in so many days. However, the location of the hotel is good. It is in Coco Bay and faces the beach. The breakfast is not a buffet, but a meal ordering form. I didn't expect that the taste is good, because the bread and waffles are baked on the ordering basis, which is particularly fragrant.

Really enjoyed my stay at fort bazaar. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Due to the rainy weather down south I changed my plans to go to Tangalle and stay a couple of extra days at Fort Bazaar and enjoyed the spa and walking around Galle. I was a solo traveler and felt safe and comfortable there. Definitely somewhere I would consider to stay again
