The air conditioning didn't work. I couldn't watch the TV. The shower wasn't easy to use, and I couldn't use it the way I wanted to at first. The shower didn't drain well.
The breakfast was delicious, and the people at the inn were all kind. I think they should just reconsider the facilities.

Budget stay that was very well priced. The location was fantastic, it was opposite the old fort walls, which meant we also had a brilliant view of the sea. The hosts were very friendly and were happy to give us advice on where to go. They showed us up to the terrace were we would be able to see views of the sea and the sunsets in the evening. These views did not disappoint. I stayed with my sister and her boyfriend. We had 1 double bed and 1 single bed which was perfect! The room was basic, but we were expecting that for the price we paid. There was a television in the room which was a surprise, not that we watched it. The only 2 negative points were that the bathroom door did not lock properly and the Wi-Fi was really poor. The wifi probably would not have bothered us that much if we were just staying for one night, but we were there for 3 nights and it made it quite difficult for us planning our next destination and how to get there and where to stay etc. There are plenty of really wonderful cafes and restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay again if we needed somewhere to stay for one night.

Except for the very clean sheets and towels, the rest could be better. Excellent location but very basic Guest house in Galle Fort. The location is its strong point because it's next to Flag Rock and you can enjoy the sunsets from the house's rooftop. The entrance is a bit difficult with a small door and steep stairs. But they carry your bags up without any problem. Very basic rooms. Cleanliness could be improved. Wi-Fi works well. English is spoken. Kettle. No refrigerator. A bottle of water is left upon arrival. Continental or Sri Lankan breakfast. You have breakfast on a landing on the first floor. Next door is the street where cars pass by, but at night it's very quiet. That's why it's worth staying at the fort. There are iron benches on the rooftop that throw you in as soon as you sit down. The accommodations are more expensive, but they're worth it. I wish they had stayed at the fort. With a little more they would fix it up and it would improve a lot. The strong point, without a doubt, is the location.

Das Hotel ist sehr einfach (das wusste ich, als ich die Reservierung vornahm) und dementsprechend bewerte ich es hier. Ich blieb nur eine Nacht und es war ein zauberhafter Aufenthalt. Sowohl vom Balkon als auch von der Terrasse aus ist die Aussicht unübertroffen. Die Familie, die das Hotel betreibt, ist sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit… Die Lage des Hotels ist fantastisch… In vielen anderen Bewertungen wird das Hotel als in die Jahre gekommen bezeichnet. Ja, das stimmt, und das ist der Charme des Hotels eigentlich...aber alles funktioniert und alles ist tadellos sauber...Sehr empfehlenswert
