I upgraded the room to the store, two beds, and it cost $28. This time I stayed at three hotels that paid for the store, which are one or two hundred higher than the online price, and it is better to pay the online payment. B&B is generally not good, but it is more appropriate to bargain in the off-season. This hotel is the most expensive hotel I have stayed in for the past few days. It costs 1100 RMB a night. It is more expensive than Marriott and the Heritage Hotel. The bathing water in the room is not hot. I don’t know if it is expensive in the ancient city.
This is the hotel I stayed for the last night in Sri Lanka. The boss service is very good, but the interior decoration is average, the bath has no hot water, it is cold to death, and mosquitoes. I was awakened by mosquitoes at night. The outside environment is very good. Walk for 5 minutes. I went to the vegetable market and cooked some noodles by myself. Those who are not very demanding can choose to stay. By the way, the breakfast is very good, but I only ate a little.
It's very close to the beach, but it's a bit difficult to drive in because the road is small.
The boss is a very enthusiastic old man. The breakfast included the next morning was very rich. The old man kept adding food for us because he was afraid that we were not full. He also chatted with us and was a kind person.
The store is not big, and there are only us and a European family. The only thing I think is not good is that it uses an electric water heater, so the hot water for bathing is limited, and it can't be unlimited hot water like at home.
With a stay at Leisure Land Villas in Wanchawala, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Unawatuna Beach and Yatagala Raja Maha Viharaya. This hotel is 2.7 mi (4.3 km) from Sahana Beach and 2.9 mi (4.6 km) from Dalawella Beach.
Take advantage of recreation opportunities including an outdoor pool and bicycles to rent. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless internet access, concierge services, and a picnic area.
Enjoy a meal at the restaurant, or stay in and take advantage of the hotel's room service (during limited hours). Breakfast is available daily for a fee.
Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 4 air-conditioned rooms featuring kitchens. Rooms have private balconies or patios. Flat-screen televisions with satellite programming provide entertainment, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected. Conveniences include desks and minibars, and housekeeping is provided daily.
Departed for Sri Lanka on September 28, 2023, and checked into the Amangalla Hotel in Galle Fort. It was the sixth Aman hotel to check in. It felt great. Amangalla was built in the 17th century. It was formerly a military command in the Netherlands. It later became the first hotel in Sri Lanka. It was acquired by the Aman Group in 1995. The hotel is not big, but it is well-equipped with swimming pools, massage pools, yoga rooms, etc. , you can experience local shaving services and foot massages.
Amangalla is the smallest Aman I have ever stayed in. It is in the middle of the ancient city of Galle and a 10-minute walk from the lighthouse. The surrounding area is very convenient for eating, drinking and entertainment. There is the Tuna and the Crab restaurant, which is a brother restaurant of the one-Michelin-star restaurant in Colombo. If you have enough money, you can try it.
Be sure to choose his tea plantation tour, which will also take you to see the sea turtle hatching base and stilt fishing. It was very interesting. Although I fell off and stepped on a rock while fishing on stilts and was injured, I gained interesting photos and a rare life experience. The ancient city of Galle is also worth visiting. Amangalla can arrange cars and tour guides. The hotel is right in the center of the ancient city. The location is good and it is very convenient to go everywhere. Although I fell into the sea while fishing on stilts and cut my feet. All in all, it was still a very interesting experience.
The two Amans in Sri Lanka are different from the ones we stayed in before. They are far away from Colombo and do not provide free airport pick-up services. The airport pick-up fee for the five of us was about US$400 in a large amanganla. It should be noted that if two Aman activities are booked for consecutive days, they generally need to be booked from the official website, not Ctrip agents.
Needless to say jetwing, Lanka's high-end resort hotel brand. Although this is a franchise store and not a direct store, it uses its management team and its products. Small details need to be strengthened. A lot of food is shipped from the lighthouse hotel next to it, so the service time is relatively long, there is no bathtub, and the water output is slightly smaller. The manager is very enthusiastic and the service is in place. The other waiters are less experienced in internships and have poor English communication skills. Overall it is good, the environment has nothing to say, the quiet and private is generally satisfactory.
Very good accommodation experience, very close to the lighthouse. B&B, the boss is very good, the breakfast is also very rich, a table can not be put down, there is coffee and tea, the most important thing is to watch the sunrise convenient, upstairs rooftop can also watch

Perfect
SS. N. N.Very good accommodation for the beach vacation in Unavatuna. Villa is located far from the noizy street in the living suburb, neibours are local people, so we heared no any party, just sounds of nature and tuk-tuks. All the key locations are not far from the place, wine store, friut store, small supermarcet, of course beaches, both Turtle and main can be reached by foots.
Garden is of proper care, there are some facilities there to spend evening on the air.
Public areas (hall, dinning-cooking rooms) are clean, there are big fridge, washing machine, gas owen, cookware, dishes, glasses, so you can Cook. Owner comes every evening to change trach bins and clean up halls.
Room is not big, but there are all the nesessary, bad wide enough, bed line clean and New, two big and two small towels. Air conditioner is New.
Very beautiful bath room, same as you see in ad
Owner is very helpful and nice.
Welcome to Shri Lanka
JJIANLINGThe house is very high-class and simple, and the natural ecological environment makes people feel comfortable. Just prepare the anti-mosquito liquid and close the door easily. The overall design of the house designed by the landlord is artistic and the details are attentive, clean and refreshing, especially the open open-air bathroom is impressive! After six days of fatigue, I took a super refreshing bath, refreshing! The landlord patiently and meticulously asked each of us about our breakfast preferences, and enjoyed a very rich and delicious breakfast by the blue swimming pool and the monkey swinging tree! Everyone even has a carefully fried double egg! Great stay experience!
GGuest UserAgnus Unawatuna is a little up into the hills, but the trip up is so worth it. The place is serene and the view is breathtaking; you get a top-down view of the ocean in all its glory, and you can even enjoy the view of the famous Galle Fort and Lighthouse from a distance. Service and amenities are amazing, and facilities are modern. Rooms are clean and well-equipped. It was a wonderful experience and the perfect place for a personal retreat! Would definitely come again if I have the chance, and have already recommended this place to some friends! Thank you!
TT&DHKWe stayed here in June when it’s low season so it’s not crowded. Staff was super friendly and the pool size is huge facing the sea. In June the waves are really rough so can’t go swim in the ocean. Breakfast and Dinner was amazing, hotel restaurant manager and staff’s service was exceptional. Our room was facing the sea so we get to wake up seeing the ocean. Room was very clean, the only thing is there are lots of spider babies around the sink and closet, also some tiny ants around, everything else is really good. We will definitely come again!!
KKatuolanA sea view hotel with a view of Galle Fort!
A hotel I like very much. It is larger and more spacious than the hotels in the old town and has a first-line sea view. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the old town.
The sea view outdoor swimming pool is the highlight. It is very comfortable even if you lie there and daydream!
The room is considered large in Galle. Although it is a bit old, it is well maintained. Avoid the rooms on the first floor, which are semi-underground...
GGuest UserWe can not say enough good things about our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive to details. We arrived at 3:00am and the hotel had prepared some fruit and sandwiches for our arrival. My wife is celiac and the staff did an amazing job ensuring there were food options available for her. They even prepared traditional Sri Lankan food for us to try. The beach club gets very busy during the day but we still felt like the only guests there. This place has a great island vibe with music and different entertainment daily. We will definitely be returning before the end of our trip.

GGuest UserThe gold bubble was a fantastic place to stay. I was a little worried traveling by myself to Sri Lanka for the first time but the staff at Gold Bubble put me at ease. Upon arrival, I was given one of the staff's what's app numbers, and was able to text any time with any questions I had. They were very attentive and always asked what I was up to for the day. It felt like having 2 brothers help me out on my trip. They served a lovely breakfast every day with fresh fruit, toast, an egg and coffee. Gold Bubble is a comfortable hotel with a 5 star staff. I felt comfortable, it was clean, and I felt safe during my stay. I would book again next time. If you are looking to book a taxi from Colombo to Ahangama add Damith to your WhatsApp and set up a taxi ride with him, he is great +94 77 657 6457
JJayathI recently stayed at this property and had an incredibly relaxing experience. The atmosphere is very peaceful, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The room itself is spacious, offering a large, private area both inside and around it—perfect for unwinding or enjoying some quiet time outdoors. The washroom was spotless and well-maintained, with everything tidy and in place. One of the highlights was the beautiful view early in the morning from the room—waking up to such a serene sight truly made the stay memorable. Highly recommend for anyone seeking peace, comfort, and a bit of natural beauty!
