Snoozles is a modern & purpose built tourist hostel. It’s Galway City Center location beside the Coach and Train Stations is just a 2 minute walk to Eyre Square in the heart of Galway City.
We offer a wide range of rooms with attached bathroom ranging from Twin/Double & Family Rooms, to 4, 6, & 10 Bed Dorms ideal for solo travelers or groups of friends sharing. With free breakfast each morning for all guests.
Guest facilities include a common room with a pool table and TV, an outside garden with table tennis, a fully equipped self-catering kitchen and a dining room. Also included is high-speed WiFi, free luggage storage, free printing and free city maps are all provided to guests. No on-site parking. There is discounted parking a 2 minute walk from the hostel called "City Park" car park just across the road from the coach station. Please note the car park has a restriction of 6.2 foot max vehicle height.
There is a 24-hour reception desk and staff are available to offer recommendations of things to do in Galway. We offer tours to the Cliffs of Moher, Connemara and the Aran Islands.

Very professionally run. Very clean and modern. A great place to stay. I unfortunately left my keys there, and they were very kind enough to have returned them to me. Eternally grateful Snoozles :)

An upmarket hostel (2 Star Hotel?). Very pleasant and helpful staff. A double room was booked. The room was "compact" but everything worked, and a mobile fan was provided. This helped with creating "white noise" to reduce the impact of noise from the street and the Bus depot to the rear of the hostel. A continental breakfast was provided. The hostel is a short walk from the train and bus depots. Ideal for walking access to Galway centre.

Comfortable beds with privacy curtains, light, power socket and USB. Good showers with hooks for hanging items and shower gel provided. And finally a hostel that doesn’t charge or require a deposit for towels - fantastic! There is a nice communal lounge area and outside seating. The kitchen has everything you need. Free tea, coffee and some fruit is available 24/7 which is fantastic, and there are even some free daily afternoon snacks. I have to say a highlight is the free breakfast which is excellent - everything you’d want and good quality produce. The hostel is very clean throughout with everything well-maintained. WiFi is excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Note that Snoozles is operated by the same people as Kinlay Hostel, which is also superb. I strongly recommend both hostels.

Hi there, I have stayed in Snoozels hostel in Galway city last Saturday night. I had tried to book in advance on line to stay at snoozles hostel in Galway city. I was able to book in to Snoozles hostel in Galway when Iarrived that night. I am thanking the customer service team member Valintina from Spain for helping me book in over the counter. Me and my five friends booked a private dorm for two nights in Galway. The room was warm, clean and beds were comfy (we especially liked the curtains on the beds). Pillows were a little hard but nothing awful. Shower was also warm and good pressure! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, there is also free breakfast (toast, ceral etc) and free coffee and tea all day. The hostel is a 5min walk from the station and eyre square and around a 10min walk from all the pubs and bars. For a group of students looking for a safe, clean and affordable place this was great (the cheapest we could find in Galway for 6 under 25s). We really enjoyed our stay and thinking of coming back in Summer !

My daughter and I booked a room for 2 and were pleasantly surprised by the size, cleanliness and comfort. She liked the curtains of the bunkbeds and I loved the balcony. The staff are incredibly friendly. The vibe is good and the interior design is funky, modern and practical. I loved the use of the kitchen rather than splurging out on expensive restaurant meals and the location 2mins from Eyre Square was just fab. Another selling point for me was the 24h cancellation policy. I’ve been recommending Snoozles to all my friends.

Snoozles Hostel is centrally located in Galway (a fine small city that should be on any Irish itinerary); the hostel staff were friendly and obliging, the hostel is commodious and the costs are modest. I would be happy to stay at Snoozles again on my next visit.

This hostel was an excellent find. The staff we so friendly and couldnt do enough to help. The rooms were basic but very clean. The common areas were really lovely in terms of decoration and amenities. It was a lovely atmosphere. There was great choice for breakfast. I would 100% recommend this as a place to stay in Galway.
