AAThe service surpasses our expectations. The staff are polite, efficient, and always ready to help. Special credit goes to General Manager Hong who speaks good English and would always walk an extra mile to give us assistance.
The environment is commendable. The hotel is clean and comfortable with a chic design. The room is brightly lit and spacious. We appreciate the practical design, such as power points conveniently equipped right in front of the working table.
We like the cozy meeting area on G/F where we can gather for a chat and savor a cup of complimentary tea or coffee. Besides, we recommend the Italian restaurant, Brother & Brother, on the 9/F. The menu mainly offers pizza, pasta and risotto. Breakfast, which must be booked in advance, include orange juice, coffee, cereal and a sumptuous sandwich fully packed with healthful vegetables, egg, ham and cheese. Anyway, the food is delicious, sometimes with a Korean twist. It is good value for money. The restaurant also has a good view overlooking the mountains and the wind turbines from afar.
Overall, we are very satisfied with The HongC Hotel. The stay was pleasant and happy.

TTheGiantPandaIf you are looking for an easy sunrise experience, this hotel is for you! You can set the alarm, then open the curtain. Once the alarm goes off, open your eyes and there you go! Sun is rising in front of your eyes!

GGuest Userthe hotel was nice however I do not understand on why there’s charges for the pools usage even for in-house guest. At the same time , housekeepers were not too aware that the sheets are not “spotless”. Nevertheless, Stay was still great and hotel came with convenient stores that makes it very very helpful. Do take notes that if you don’t drive and arrive slightly late, most restaurants nearby will not be open

GGuest UserVery nice and clean modern facility, comfortable bed and convenient location with much to offer. The staff are very helpful even with the language barrier but they do their best to assist and help with finding stuff around town. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds.
I was here during the wildfire and strong winds and hotel staff put the patrons safety above all else and assist. Highly recommend this hotel for a safe enjoyable stay

The cleanliness is good, the parking lot is spacious, but the soundproofing is not very good.
I could hear the couple(?) fighting next door very clearly, so I turned the song up really loud.

GGuest UserThe room condition is clean and good. The heating works well and there is no draft. Since it is a newly opened place, it feels like I spent a day in a model house room. It also smells a bit new. Although it is not in the picture, there is a proper built-in refrigerator/freezer of about 250L(?), a mini sink, and a microwave, which are usually installed in places like officetels. The bathroom is well-appointed with American Standard ceramics and faucets, but the shower booth has a space under it, so water overflows out of the shower booth. There is a GS convenience store and BBQ as a convenience facility, but there are no other facilities yet. There are some parts of the rooftop and common areas that are not yet finished with construction, but it was not a problem because I did not use them because it was winter.

CChung-hanIt's just besides st. John hotel, there's bar and restaurant, 7-11, and there's also a GS25 close by about 2mins walking distance. Need to used uber to call taxi , so for foreigner try to download Uber before you arrive. There's also bus station about 10mins walking, for bus in Gangneung is W1,700/way, if you have T-card it's W1,530/way. The hotel facility is a little old, but everything working well.

The location is out of place, so I think I have to take a car.
The room itself was big and nice and very comfortable to stay alone.
