Jeongdongjin Sol Lavue Hotel & Resort

It's very clean because it's not that old. The lobby is sparkling, I like the bathroom tiles, and the mattress is nice. It's close to Jeongdongjin, so it was easy to go see the sunrise in the morning.

It's newly built, so it's clean and well-maintained overall! There are no disposable toothbrushes or toothpaste, but it has all the basic amenities and is a very cost-effective hotel. It's good for seeing the sunrise in Jeongdongjin or the Sun Cruise, and although there aren't many buses a day, there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel entrance, so it's good to use public transportation~

During my trip to Gangneung, I chose the newly opened Solaview Hotel & Resort because I had a schedule in Jeongdongjin. I had high expectations because it was newly opened. Since I was traveling with my mom, I was thinking of staying in downtown Gangneung. But since it was a newly opened place, I really wanted to go. My mom made the choice, but I was the one who actively promoted it! Solaview is located right above the famous Sun Cruise. There were a lot of rooms. I remember there were 279 rooms... First of all, it's a real hotel. It's not just a hotel in name. Is that how it feels? The staff at the lobby where I checked in were very friendly I felt good There was a GS25 convenience store BBQ in the lobby I remember it well.. My family stayed on the 4th floor The view was the parking lot view ㅋㅋ Personally, the view wasn't that important to me The room was small and nice There was a microwave and drying rack The refrigerator was built-in and new, so it was big and clean It was cold when I first entered the room But after about an hour, the room was really warm My mom loved it The water pressure in the bathroom was good and there was a bidet If I had to pick one downside, it would be that the bathroom drain seemed a bit wrong It was inconvenient to use because the drainage wasn't smooth I think we made a very comfortable and good memory while traveling with our family.

The room condition is clean and good. The heating works well and there is no draft. Since it is a newly opened place, it feels like I spent a day in a model house room. It also smells a bit new. Although it is not in the picture, there is a proper built-in refrigerator/freezer of about 250L(?), a mini sink, and a microwave, which are usually installed in places like officetels. The bathroom is well-appointed with American Standard ceramics and faucets, but the shower booth has a space under it, so water overflows out of the shower booth. There is a GS convenience store and BBQ as a convenience facility, but there are no other facilities yet. There are some parts of the rooftop and common areas that are not yet finished with construction, but it was not a problem because I did not use them because it was winter.

I don't think it's in perfect condition yet. There are areas under construction here and there. It's still a new building, so the room smelled like a new house. It was too dry. The twin room doesn't have an ocean view. The mountain view wasn't great either. The twin room was very small. The best part was that it was close to the ocean. The rooftop had a surprisingly good view. It was convenient because there was a microwave. I think it would have been better if there was a washing machine and a humidifier. It was nice that there was a convenience store right in the lobby. The staff were very friendly. I was satisfied with everything else.
