The hotel is a great base from which to explore Lake Garda. Yes the decor is a little dated but the rooms are a good size and are clean and comfortable and tended to daily. The food is plentiful, tasty and offers a good choice, both at breakfast and in the evening. Snacks are available from the bar. Speaking of which, the bar and reception area is ideal, welcoming, comfortable and a good size so everyone can spread out during the day and at busier times such as the evenings. One night we had live music and there was plenty of room for dancing without being on top of those who just wanted a drink and a chat. Worth mentioning the cocktails (pina coladas well worth trying), all reasonably priced. The pool is an asset, very clean and also a good size and depth. The team at the hotel are all very welcoming, attentive and very friendly, working exceptionally hard to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. Happy to recommend this hotel and look forward to hopefully returning another year. Thanks to the team for their hospitality.

I thought this hotel was in a fair location in Garda 20 minute stroll to the lake. The bar staff and reception staff were lovely throughout our 4 day stay. The hotel is very dated indeed. But our room although dated was clean, we got clean sheets and towels daily. The air con did not work most days, but after we asked at reception they sent someone to fix it, only for it to break again, our free safe also kept jamming, although they fixed it each time. There is a large pool, that did help you cool down on the hot days, also plenty sun beds, but the ground and walkways are quite uneven. And full of weeds. Food 🙄 Mario the restaurant manger needs to know we’re paying for our holiday, it wasn’t free, shouting at people, telling them were to sit and making strangers sit on same small table. Very poorly explained how it works, barring you if you’re late to dinner. Without guests Mario you have no job! We ate out 2days out of 4, to avoid Mario. Lake Garda is stunning, and with a total overhaul this could be a fab hotel.

A hotel in desperate need of some tlc and new staff. Gave it 1 star as I can't give anything less. Room was a good size (that's the good point). Sheets were clean, towels were the same thickness as the sheets! Plug sockets old style and not many of them. NO REFRIGERATOR. Bar staff don't know how to count, wrong change given and they argued the point. Dining room was awful, food was luke warm at best, Hot plate either not turned on or on lowest number. Ran out of items regularly, no English tea for more than 4 days. Meals had to be ordered and you were shouted at if you didn't fill the form in! Told where to sit and not allowed anywhere else. If you arrived late you missed out. Everyone had to wait whilst they served the pasta course to sveryone at the same time (sometimes over 30 minutes) and dripped it over you. And their attitude was appalling, plenty of training required. I could go on, but I won't. Swimming pool doesn't have a shallow end totally unsuitable for children and glasses allowed around the pool. Overall an awful hotel and should be avoided at all costs. Complaints made to management who were simply not interested. Why anyone would want to return there I don't know. I've run a busy b&b for over 10 years so have experience, thank goodness were weren't like that.

Where to start! Room was nothing exceptional, very basic. Mishmash of coat hangers with not enough room. Cover on bed was dirty with holes and holes in sheet as well. Bathroom was ok. On a Ledger coach holiday and as we were later arriving were told we had to have what was on buffet and then waiters appeared with pasta which they put on top of what we were eating. Rude waiting staff. Served over people that were eating. Tables so close that people had to move every time somebody wanted to get out. Breakfast very basic. Not too bad as long as you stayed away fro undercooked bacon and fried eggs that had been sitting on a hot plate for ages. There was a set time for dinner and you were barred from entering dining area until that time - back at school springs to mind. Dinners were awful so much so that we ate out 2 nights. Such a shame as Lake Garda is a beautiful place. Ledger need to start upgrading their hotels.

I agree with previous traveller, hotel could do with update. Reasonably clean and no problems with bedding Bar staff attentive Restaurant staff appalling- was told sitting in wrong area and had to carry our food to an uncleared table with no cutlery. Several times was witness to others being told off- need customer service training or new line of employment Pool was lovely and signs all over, about the uneven pathways. It was near to shops and lake, food we paid for at lunch time one day was lovely/reasonably priced Had a great holiday

I can honestly say this is the worst hotel I have stayed in. It is stuck in the 1970’s without being updated. Our room was not clean, sheets were dirty and bathroom had not been cleaned. Paint peeling, hole in wall, wardrobe had lumps out of it. Torn bedspreads. Reported to reception and was given clean sheets to make the bed myself and given cleaning products to clean bathroom myself. Dining room very crowded tables for 4 meant for 2 people. Very noisy. The hotel grounds are very uneven definitely a trip hazard Given 3 stars but should be 1 star. Whole holiday spoilt by inferior hotel. Sorry can’t say anything nice about this hotel
