Worst place ever — total scam! Stay far away from this hotel. They ripped us off and refused to cancel the rest of our stay once we realized what a scam this place is. The staff are the rudest people I have ever met — completely unhelpful and disrespectful. The rooms are tiny, nothing like the photos. The service is terrible, and they clearly don’t care at all about guests once they have your money. We tried to cut our vacation short because it was so bad, but they flat out refused. Do yourself a favor: stay somewhere else. This hotel ruined our trip and treated us horribly.

Great experience! The facilities were clean and updates, the views of the lake are wonderful, the staff friendly and helpful and the included breakfast and the dinner menu was delightful! This hotel is a great value and a gem in the Lakes Region!

We were on a motorbike road trip and found this lovely hotel on our way. Everything was perfect. Very peaceful, good sauna and swimming pool, excellent restaurant and beatiful surroundings. Secure private parking for bikes. Room with balcony & view. Highly recommended.

Meandro hotel is perfectly situated for visiting stunning Gargnano. (But be prepared for an uphill walk from the centre back to the hotel.) We were warmly greeted by the owner who was consistently helpful during our stay. The other staff were mostly average in my opinion. We were rather disappointed with our room, which was classed as a suite with a lake view balcony. Rather overpriced, in my opinion, and no comfortable seating, not much space, a rather small and dated shower room, and a small balcony (cheaper rooms seemed to have bigger balconies). Stunning view. Lovely bed and bedding. We were rather disappointed with the restaurant for the dinner service. It was rather cold in there, so I had to go back to the room to get our coats to wear. The food was ok, but quite overpriced compared to what you can get in Gargnano. Breakfast was very good. The indoor swimming pool was stunning and I made good use of this. Large and warm. The garden took some finding as it really isn’t much of a garden, unless of course I didn’t actually find it. Overall, a decent place to stay, but relatively overpriced, and issues that we had were never resolved.

We had a lovely time in Hotel Meandro. The place was in an excellent location with walking distance to te village and public transportation to Garda or Riva town center. It is a good option for anyone who needs some quiet and recharging time. The staff in the hotel and restaurant are super friendly.

Very impressed with this hotel. From the quality of the room with it's amazing view of the lake, to the restaurant, and last, but not least, the staff, who were so friendly and accommodating. We got there using the ferry, which in late October is about 3 hours (in the summer there is a faster service), which was a great way to see all the other shoreline towns. You can alternatively go by bus (need to change but straightforward) or car/taxi. I just wish we'd stayed longer.

Would you stay in a place where the owner/manager told you to ‘I do t give a f**k about your review!!!! Our safe would not open and I needed medication. We had just come back from our room after beautiful dinner in the restaurant and when I called to see if I could get some help I was asked do I need access to the safe as the person I was speaking to was now at home. I said are you serious this is a hotel and there is no one to help. I will be leaving a review. We had to use the bottle opener to get the safe to actually open and when I called back to say that we had managed it what is said at the start is what I was met with and he hung up. I am told he was either the owner or manager. I am seriously unsure as to what happens here if there is an emergency say a fire or something else as it would appear there is no one on site after 10.00 pm. A very expensive place to be to be abused by the owner.

Beautiful views from spacious room with balcony. AC can be controlled in the room but is a bit noisy. Very peaceful and relaxing. Town a 10 minute downhill walk away. There is access to the lake nearby. The breakfast was good with lots of options. Would have preferred an outdoor pool, but the large indoor pool and sauna was nice too. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.
