We loved this place. It was beautiful and so relaxing. Frau Rögl was kind and helpful even though our german was not very good. The guest house and organic farm are right at the top of the Kals valley, before the walking paths up the mountain. We walked out almost every day of our stay in June, on paths surrounded by wild flowers. The rooms were large and airy, with a balcony. We had a view down the valley to next mountain range. The guest house provides breakfast - the best home made yoghurt I have ever had - and home made bread and many other things. For other meals, one can eat dinner at the hotel next door (nice) but mostly we walked up to the mountain huts and ate a large lunch, then came back to a drink and snack. There's a fridge for guests on each floor, and a cooler with drinks and ice cream. This really was the perfect place.

We stayed for 6 days at the end of September and our experience was excellent. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable and the breakfast is very good. Based on the price, this place is an incredible value. Literally it is at the end of a beautiful valley and one of the nicest hikes we have ever experienced is right outside the door. Other great hikes and good restaurants are within a 10 minute drive inside the quiet valley. Also, as Americans we know we have done our job when there are few to no Americans where we vacation, and this is one of those places. What's not to like, in America it would be 4 times the price and overcrowded with other people. Thanks again Andrea for your hospitality!!

Zum ungefähr achten Mal war ich wieder begeistert im schönen Landhaus Taurer. Die herzliche Gastfreundschaft mit wertvollen eigenen Produkten zum Frühstück, die schöne naturverbundene Einrichtung, Ruhe und gute Luft waren wunderbar.

Wir haben unsere Woche "Wanderurlaub mit Hund" im Landhaus Taurer von ganzem Herzen genossen. Die angemietete FeWo "Blauspitz" war für eine 4-köpfige Familie gut und großzügig geschnitten, blitzsauber, perfekt möbliert und bot mit einem "Frühstück à la carte" und der Möglichkeit, das Abendessen beim benachbarten Taurerwirt einzunehmen, alles, was man sich an Unterkunft und Verpflegung in einer FeWo wünscht. Am Ende einer Straße und direkt am Eingang ins wunderschöne Dorfertal gelegen, hat das Landhaus Taurer sie nicht nur eine ideale Lage und einen herrlichen Ausblick in die beeindruckende Bergwelt ringsherum, sondern bot Ruhe für die Erwachsenen, Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder, Wanderwege direkt ab der Unterkunft und mit Andrea einen liebenswerten Menschen, der immer bereit war, sich um die Wünsche und Probleme der Gäste mit viel Geduld und Hingabe zu kümmern! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
