The hotel is great and staff is very kind. When you exit the hotel you are directly on the ski slope. For afternoon they have great SPA with 3 different saunas and outdoor pools. Food is tasty and great selection of drinks. Also bottled wine for dinner is delicious with fair prices. The only problem was in the bathroom where water temperature changed a lot when somebody in nearby room opened the pipe.

Booked as part of a ski package we would gladly go back and stay at the hotel of our own choice. The All Inclusive meals /drinks were fine, with enough variety over a week. The outside heated pool, steaming amongst the snow was great and used daily to shake off weary legs. Plentiful free parking. Room had plentiful storage for 2 and the WiFi was strong throughout. Good sized secure ski/boot room with access direct to the rear slope, or a short glide/walk to the west side of the resort. There is a voluntary tip system due on check out, but as EVERY member of staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful we had no issue paying it - they work hard and deserved some recognition. Overall a stress free, enjoyable weeks holiday.

This is our no1 hotel in Austria. It is a great one to go with the kids because everything is made for them. From the ice cream machine in the lobby right to the reception to the all kids playing zones, playgrounds and pool area. There is also a lot of outside things to do like bob driving, Adrenalin park, cable car, hiking to go and ride the ponies etc. Hotel is all inclusive which means that apart from breakfast lunch and dinner you have snacks and drinks included which is really a nice one. Rooms are very family oriented and we really enjoy each time we come here.

It’s top hotel in Katschberg I think. Our family goes here every year for six years, so it must be good😄, I don’t know what else to say, they have just super personal and we’ve had a lot of good experiences in this place, so I just want to say a big Thanks to them 🙏

This maybe used to be a good hotel. Now is just a maybe 2 star hotel, food is awful, they are recycling stuff from two days before. Rooms are older, bunk beds are metal like from the hospitals, cards for opening arent working.. Hotel needs renovation, or remove stars and lower price. Spa area and pool is nice.

Wir sind immer viel unterwegs, aber haben erst jetzt unseren ersten Österreichurlaub mit den Kindern gemacht. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht von dem Hotel. Die guten Bewertungen sind in dem Fall wirklich verdient. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Freundlichkeit (fast) aller Mitarbeiter und das stets sehr leckere Essen. Wir haben uns auf jede Mahlzeit gefreut und wollen gar nicht wissen was die Waage nach 8 Tagen AI so sagt. Die Familiensuite war sehr gemütlich, geräumig und komfortabel. Die Unternehmungsmöglichkeiten innerhalb und außerhalb des Hotels haben uns im puncto Quantität und Qualität überrascht. Loben möchten wir insbesondere Neven von der Bar und Vassim von der Nachtwache, die es trotz sehr früherer Abreise (4 Uhr morgens) ermöglicht haben Frühstücksboxen und Kaffee für die 9 stündige Autofahrt zu bekommen. Der größte Dank geht an Feuerwehrmann Sven, der den Kindern beim Feuerwehr spielen einen unvergesslichen Tag bereitet hat. Dazu ist seine offene, fröhliche und sympathische Art eine wahre Freude. Vielen Dank für eine schöne Familienzeit!

Auch für ein schönes Wochenende zu Zweit ist dieses Hotel sehr zu empfehlen. Allerdings darf einem Kindergeschrei am Buffet nichts ausmachen - sonst ist man fehl am Platz. Dafür entlohnt ein liebevoll angerichtetes Buffet ... mit all inclusive bekommt man von morgens bis abends immer etwas Leckeres zu essen. Obwohl ich das Essensangebot in Summe hoch lobe, ist es schade zu sehen, dass irgendwie bei jedem Besuch etwas entfällt, um es günstiger zu machen? Kleinigkeiten die wegfallen und nicht viel Geld kosten wie z.B. das Angebot von Kellogg's Frosties ... Schade eigentlich ... Der Wellnessbereich ist wunderschön und entspannend. Die Temperatur des Aussenbeckens ist mittlerweile wärmer eingestellt, so dass es sich gut aushalten lässt. Vielleicht repariert man auch irgendwann mal den immer lauter brummenden Lüfter im Wasserliegenbettraum ;-) ... Trotzdem insgesamt traumhaft. Sehr aufgefallen ist mir diesmal die besondere Freundlichkeit, die vom Personal ausging. Heutzutage nicht immer Selbstverständlichkeit. Toll auch die neue Idee die Gäste beim Eingang zum Restaurant zu "empfangen". Sehr nett und persönlich. Besonderer Dank geht an Andreas von der Rezeption, Simon vom F&B (den Pina Colada als spezielle Mischung sollte man probieren); Zsofia von der Bar (mit Herzblut im Einsatz); das Energiebündel Tammy vom Sportbereich (Trampolin mit Tammy muß man mal mitgemacht haben - so etwas hast Du noch nicht erlebt ;-)).

Zwischen Salzburg und Kärnten eingebettet in wunderschöner Berglandschaft eröffnet sich hier ein Paradies für Familien mit Kindern. Action, Spaß und Entspannung - hier ist für jeden etwas dabei. Für Wasserratten gibt es einen großzügigen Indoor-/Outdoor-Pool, die Eltern können (Dank liebevoller Kinderbetreuung mit abwechslungsreichen Programm) auch im ansprechenden Spa-Bereich entspannen. Außerdem ist das Falkensteiner Funimation Katschberg der ideale Ausgangspunkt für diverse Aktivitäten in der Region. Langeweile kommt hier jedenfalls keine auf. Besonders hervor sticht vor allem die sensationelle Kulinarik des Hauses. Frühstück, Mittagessen, Abendessen und dazwischen Kuchenbuffet: Das umfassende Angebot bietet für jeden Geschmack regionale und internationale Köstlichkeiten. Eine eigene Ecke für Kinder entspannt den Ansturm enorm. Sehr durchdacht! Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber, das Personal bemüht, geduldig und zuvorkommend. Wer entspannten Familienurlaub sucht, ist hier goldrichtig!
