We had a really lovely week staying at the Hotel Regina. All the staff were perfect, very friendly and welcoming! From the cleaners to the main family owners. Very kind! Loved the decor inside of the building. Highly recommend and we would love to stay again when we return to Obergurgl. To family Shöpf, Thank you for a great week!

We stayed for one week as a family of four over Easter. The hotel is fantastic - comfortable spacious room, spotlessly clean throughout, fabulous breakfast with lots of choice, a very short walk onto the slopes, great boot room and lovely bar area. We had dinner in the village each evening (would recommend booking during peak season) and it’s a short, steep climb back up to the hotel. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

This is a wonderful family-run hotel - and we would definitely return. Large rooms, lovely social bar area and a wellness area that is second to none. And delicious breakfasts as well. Ski shop one minute walk away, ski slopes two minutes walk away - out and back. Thank you all for a great week!

Enjoyed our time at Regina. There were only few guests, so we had all the care we could have from owners and staff. Wellness area only for us, nice meals, clean rooms. For the price paid we would expect free bathrobes available. Hotel has perfect location for exploring mountains around, summer card already included.

We have just returned from the most amazing week staying at Hotel Regina. We have visited Obergurgl many times but this was our first visit to Hotel Regina. We arrived late at night due to a flight delay and we were warmly welcomed and fed a delicious meal even though dinner had finished being served. Our room was spotlessly clean, warm and the beds comfortable. The spa was beautiful, the boot room fab and the ski hire shop a couple of strides away. Short walk across to the piste and lifts. The real highlight was the food, fantastic selection, beautifully presented and delicious. Thank you Gothard for a wonderful holiday, we hope to come again next year.

My daughter and I ski every winter and like to try different resorts. We stayed at the Hotel Regina in Obergurgl last year and enjoyed it so much we came back in February this year. We enjoyed our stay the 2nd time so much we have already booked for Feb 2024. The location is perfect, less than a minutes walk from blue 6 and access to the whole ski area. All the staff, from the owners down, are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is kept spotlessly clean. The food is amazing with a 5 course dinner every evening and a superb breakfast buffet. There is a great spa area downstairs to ease those aching muscles after a hard day's skiing and the bedrooms are very comfortable. Only a short walk into the village centre and there is quite a steep hill to negotiate on the way back but this shouldn't be a great problem for most people. Very high standards are maintained by Herr Schopf and his team and I am really looking forward to returning next year

A great hotel and perfect location for the slopes. It's definitely a ski in ski out.... This hotel is finished to such a high standard. Everywhere you look the attention to detail stands out. The bar area is simply superb and the staff are polite and enthusiastic. The food was excellent and with a service to match. Everyone was so polite and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Hotel Regina. We will definitely be back. Well done to all the staff..AAA

I can’t praise this hotel enough. So impeccably clean. Amazing food. Excellent service. Excellent barman. Perfect location. Also loved that our room had separate toilet and bathroom. Really hope to stay here again.

6 of us Stayed here last week of Feb 23, what a very lovely hotel. Gorgeous reception bar and restaurant area, cosy and welcoming. Rooms were spacious and all had balconies. It would have been good to have a coffee machine or kettle in the room, we are early risers and with breakfast starting at 8, I needed coffee well before then but we knew this and took a travel kettle with us. Very short walk across the street to blue 6 with a short ski to the main lifts that’s great for all but absolute beginners. Heated boot room was a great asset and again, gorgeous decor! Kit hire shop was also a few steps across the road, so very convenient and full of extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. I have to mention the fabulous chefs! The food here was incredible every night. They catered excellently for my vegetarian diet. Also must mention Szilvia in the restaurant who was brilliant, as was Stefan in the bar. Thank you Fam Schopf all at the Regina for a wonderful stay, we loved it!
