We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in a sunny and spacious room with a balcony on the upper floor. The room was beautifully laid out and included tea making facilities, mini bar, rain shower, comfortable beds and it was quiet. Wi-Fi in the rooms could be improved on though. The breakfast is good and varied. We had dinner there on the first night and enjoyed our dining experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. Sitting in the courtyard with free chilled water and pastries on a sunny afternoon with the backdrop of flowing water was a delight. Gegenbach is a jewel of a Black Forest town and this hotel is well situated to enjoy it, being a lovely 10 minute meander into town. If I ever return to Gegenbach, this is where I would stay.

All in all we were satisfied. This is the fourth time I have been to this hotel 🏨 You can see improvements every time. If something is missing, just say it and everything will be taken care of. The boss is always in the house and always very friendly.

Das war eine der seltsamsten Hotelnächte ever: wir sind auf der Durchreise hier abgestiegen. Erst nach dem Buchen hat die nette Dame uns informiert , dass das Restaurant geschlossen ist. Um 5 Uhr morgens gieng der Feueralarm los. Da niemand vom Personal anwesend war, hat ein Gast Kontakt aufgenommen. Nach 20 Minuten durften dann alle wieder ins Bett. Das Bad haben wir mit einer Riesenspinne geteilt. Um 6:15 wurden wir wieder geweckt weil das Infotablet im Zimmer angegangen ist. An der Rezeption wurde unser Feedback zur Kenntnis genommen. Wir hätten eine Entschuldigung verdient. Werden hier wohl nicht mehr logieren.

Erinnert mich an ein Pflegeheim , wäre zumindest dafür geeignet . Personal sehr nett , Frühstück top 👍, Aber dann, siehe Fotos vom Zimmer Katastrophal für so viel Geld. Würden dort nicht mehr übernachten. Das Bad war sehr sauber ! Würden dort aber nicht mehr übernachten.

Een goed hotel in het Zwarte Woud met vriendelijk personeel. Alles is ruim opgezet, zoals de receptie, de lounge, de bar en het restaurant. Bij droog en mooi weer kan je heerlijk buiten eten. ‘s Ochtends kan je genieten van een Duits ontbijt en ook ‘s avonds kan je heerlijk eten. Je kan gebruik maken van het binnenzwembad, waar ligbedden staan. Er is een ruime parkeerplaats voor auto’s. Vanuit het hotel wandel je in een paar minuten naar het gezellige Gengenbach. Zeker de moeite waard. De kamers zijn ook ruim, hebben een badkamer met douche, een airco, minibar en een balkon met zitje. Er is een lift aanwezig en de hotelgangen zijn erg breed. Het hotel is ook in de buurt van de A5. Dus handig als je op doorreis bent. Maar ook lekker om een paar dagen te blijven, om bijv. in de buurt te wandelen. Het hotel heeft zelf een paar bijenkasten; bij het ontbijt staat dan ook overheerlijke honing.

Waren nun zum fünften Mal in diesem Hotel. Leider waren dieses Mal nicht so glücklich wie immer. Das Personal war sehr zurückhaltend, und sehr ernst. Das Frühstücken ging, es gab um 9h nur keine Vollkorn oder Roggenbrötchen. Was aber mit der Freundlichkeit des Personals nichts zutun hatte.

Sehr schönes Hotel am Rande von Gengenbach, innerhalb weniger Minuten ist man in der sehenswerten Innenstadt. Sehr grosse Zimmer mit Balkon, tolles Frühstück und nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Das Restaurant haben wir nicht besucht, die Speisekarte klingt aber vielversprechend. Dafür haben wir aber am Abend die Bar aufgesucht, ebenfalls wunderbar. Sogar Schwimmbad und Sauna sind vorhanden, ebenso ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze und das Alles zu einem angemessenen Preis. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder.

Ein tolles, ruhiges Hotel (wie ein U gebaut), mega große Zimmer (Zi. 213 mit Wohnzimmer, Schlafzimmer, Bad, Balkon), Parkplätze kostenlos (direkt vor dem Hotel), super Frühstücksbuffet und ein tolles Restaurant (zur Kirsche). Es gibt nix zu meckern, aber alles zu loben. Jederzeit würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen.
