The hosts waited to check me in after 23h00, thankful after the long travel day. The room was as advertised, very spacious and with all the amenities required... aircon, hot water, fridge and good quality finishes and linen/ towels. Great help yourself kitchen downstairs and a cozy roof terrace available too. Will definitely stay again if I find myself in Penang again! The hosts were happy to advice and recommend restaurants and places of interest, information on transport and basics like ATM's and sim card purchases. Give the Lang Hoose a go, you won't regret it!

Beautiful old mansion, tastefully decorated, lots of charm, great location in the centre of Georgetown. The room was spacious with a very comfortable kingsize bed, (we slept like babies:-), clean sheets, thick large comfy bathroom towels, good lightening in the room, enough storage space and the best shower we had in 4 months of travelling in Asia! There is a kitchen where you can make yourself coffee or tea free of charge, water is also available for free. There is a large choice of other drinks you can buy at the reception. And what really made our one week stay so amazing were the lovely warmhearted hosts Jess and Guchi! We so recommend this place! ❤

Staff was very hospitable and helpful, thank you again so much guys! We came at the night hours and needed some guidance/help around the city right here-now and they helped us with everything (though working hours were over) which saved us a lot of money. I feel really lucky that we booked this exact guesthouse. The room was good, everything is clean and nice. The location is close to the beautiful local street art (streets are also very interesting and authentic), they have treasure map at the hotel and you can find all masterpieces walking around.
