Beacon Executive Suites

We had an incredible 9-night stay at Beacon Executive Suites in unit 29-09, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The unit was immaculately clean, and the host was both kind and generous, ensuring every detail was perfect. Managed by WeHomes, the service was top-notch—efficient, helpful, and always available to assist with anything we needed. The view from our unit was nothing short of breathtaking. Waking up each morning to clouds gently touching the mountains was an unforgettable experience, and watching the sunset over the mountains each evening was beyond magical. Penang is a large and diverse place, so having a car is essential, but we loved exploring the island. From stunning beaches and charming cafes to bustling malls, bird parks, and farms, there was so much to see and do. One of the highlights of our stay was the infinity pool with its mesmerizing view of the sea and city towers. Watching the sunrise from the pool in the morning and the moonlight reflecting off the water at night was simply surreal.We can't wait to come back and stay at Beacon Executive Suites again. A huge thank you to WeHomes management for making this trip so special for us! We’ll treasure these memories forever.

The standard quality of the unit we lived in was very poor. No tissue was given, matress supports were terrible, there were insects dan ants when you left foods only for few hours. Faucet heads were gone in both toilets, and no places for hanging clothes in the bathrooms. Disappointed. We lived in level 11, unit 11!

We stayed for 2 nights. We were given a 10th floor unit where you can get a night view of the city. The size of the unit is spacious for 6-7 people to stay which we were only 4. For comfort & privacy, 4-5 people would be just nice for this unit. There is a double bed at the living hall, a double bed at the master bedroom, and a double & single bed in the second room. The unit is clean and the kitchen seems well equiped though we did not use. There is a TV at the living hall and another TV at the master bedroom. There are multiple channels available though we did not have much time to view with our short stay. The unit is well furnished and comfortable for family stay. Location is good to move around with a car. The car park is at level 2-8a which ours is at the highest level. The parking space is good but rather challenging going up which is a bit narrow for MPV like ours. Recommend to drive small car if your group is not many. There is reasonably good security in this apartment. Did not have time to use the facilites of the building which l presume have a great view of the city at the building top. Disliked · Areas of improvement would be suggested which are important to provide better comfort: 1) Toilets should have rack or clothe hangers for towels and clothes which there isn't any. 2) There should at least have a toilet paper roll holder which which is just kept on the wash basin. 3) There should be a rubbish bin in the toilet which we we have to use a plastic ourselves. Only one at the kitchen 4) Since no house keeping, instruction guide should be given how to dispose rubbish especially if there is cooking 5) Though TV has many channels but no intruction guides as to which are pay channels and which are free 6) Towels are aged and time to replace new ones.

I booked a two-bed apartment in Beacon Executive Suites via Airbnb and whilst it was a lot more expensive than other places I'd stayed in Malaysia, it was also definitely the worth the money and a pretty much faultless experience. The apartment was huge, and floor to ceiling windows made it feel even bigger. It was impeccably clean (though this will depend which website you book through) and there was plenty of bedding, towels etc. to suit every preference. Despite the size the air conditioning was functional and kept things cool. White goods in the kitchen looked brand new, the daybed and TV in the lounge were great, and the bedroom had plenty of storage - including lots of clothes hangers, which oddly seem to be a rarity when travelling. The rooftop pool had a fantastic view of the George Town skyline and the couple of times I ventured up there there were plenty of sunbeds and shady spots available. George Town is a lovely city but visiting in April meant it was extremely hot for sightseeing post-midday. Beacon Executive Suites was the perfect spot to retire to and cool down. I walked into town into the morning (around 30 minutes) and took a Grab (a ride-hailing service, like Uber) early afternoon, which cost around RM20 or less, so very affordable. The only downside was noise from people in the apartment upstairs. Without carpets and soft furnishings this is a risk: one night people were screeching and moving furniture until 3am. However, my host informed me the next day that the 24-hour security guards will deal with this and fortunately these guests only stayed for one night, so the rest of the stay was relatively quiet. A good choice if you want to spend a bit more money and don't mind being a little bit out of the way. In return I got a super-clean apartment, tons of space and an invaluable sanctuary to cool down and chill out. I would stay again.
