On new year's eve my friend and I wanted to take the last S-bahn train home after celebrating the new year in Gernbach Altstadt. Unfortunately some strange men started following and harassing us and we ended up missing the last train. We weren't the only ones that missed the train and together as a group of 4 women we tried to shake these men off. Because we were afraid and especially with groups of young men here and there still lighting off fireworks, we ended up ringing the Stadt Gernbach Hotel's doorbell for safety. The lady of the night staff really saved us and took us in. She tried to call a taxi for us, but every one of them was booked throughout the night. We were offered to stay the night free of charge considering the situation. And I can't express how grateful we are for this. Without the staff of the Stadt Gernbach Hotel we could have been robbed, assaulted or worse. So if you're considering staying at this hotel: be assured, the people working there are good people and go above and beyond to assure your safety.

War geschäftlich für 3 Tage im Raum Gernsbach unterwegs und habe noch einen Urlaubstag angehängt. Die Lage des Hotels war super, das Frühstücksbufett sehr reichhaltig und hat für einen guten Start in den Tag gesorgt. Die Damen an der Rezeption und beim Frühstück waren sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit bei Fragen. Kann mir gut vorstellen, hier den Ausgangspunkt für einen Schwarzwaldurlaub zu haben. Komme bestimmt wieder!!

Sehr schönes Hotel in super Lage im Schwarzwald zum Wandern und Entspannen. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war super sauber und total gemütlich. Man hat alles was man braucht vor Ort. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet ist top! Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Bin seit etlichen Jahren Gast gewesen, war auch immer sehr zufrieden,aber so etwas habe ich noch nicht erlebt, wie das vergangene mal. Die junge Dame im Frühstücksraum, war sehr unfreundlich. Am Frühstücksbuffet wurde nichts nachgelegt, wenn nachfragte bekam man eine unfreundliche Antwort von ihr. Die zwei langjährigen Mitarbeiterinnen im Service sind aufmerksam dem Gast gegenüber und immmer freundlich. sowie die Zimmerfrauen die auch immer freundlich dem Gast gegenüber sind.
