Excellent! Very satisfied for this onsen hotel!! Definitely recommend this accommodation to friends and family. Everything is over expectation: services, facilities, room, public bath (onsen), food, and all. One drawback would be language barrier between some staff, but they really trying to communicate with us which is impressive. Also, there is a free shuttle bus service between train station and hotel during daytime, very convenient. Tips for me is to book this hotel on weekdays, it is half price cheaper than weekends or holidays.

This is my second stay in Gero. The first time I stayed at Yunoshimakan, which is the most popular in the country, I noticed this hotel on the opposite mountain when I checked in. I feel that the location is better than Yunoshimakan, but this hotel is domestic I can’t find any reviews on major domestic software, and the price is higher. This time I booked it completely with a try, but the feeling after check-in really did not disappoint me: First of all, let’s talk about the location: the hotel is on the upper reaches of the Gero River. On the hillside of the west bank, a bird's eye view of Gero is completely unobstructed. If you want to go to Gero Onsen Street or the station, you can ask the hotel attendant to drive there at any time and make an appointment to return to the hotel in advance. The driver will wait at the station on time, and these are free. Second, the hotel’s service is still very good, but the disadvantage is that English is not good. There is only one girl who is Indian and can speak simple English. The other waiters can only communicate in Japanese. The hotel has no waiters who can speak Chinese. There is a slight obstacle to communication. This is also the different positioning of the hotel and the Yunoshima Pavilion. The Yuzhidao Pavilion is full of the voices of Chinese and Taiwanese. It is basically a quiet and quiet Japanese. Regarding the sanitation of the hotel, this may be the most I have seen. It’s a good hotel. I changed my shoes when I entered the hotel. The floor was spotless. Even the carpet in the living room of the room had no signs of being used. The toilet had no peculiar smell. The decoration looked very new. The guest room was very large and looked about 70 square meters. , Each guest room has a living room, dressing room, toilet, bathroom, and bar. The living comfort is extremely high. Thirdly, I saw the layout of the hotel. The hotel has 10 floors. The third floor is a hot spring. Both men and women have indoors. Outdoor hot spring, the guest rooms are from the fourth floor to the tenth floor. There are only 3 rooms on each floor. I booked a private bath. It was on the fourth floor. After observation, there was no private bath on the 5th-10th floors. The spring water of the Lou private hot spring and the water source of the public hot spring on the 3rd floor come from different mountains, so there is a little difference in smell. Personally I feel that I should book a private soup, because the waiter said that the public hot spring is not open in the morning, which means that I can’t enjoy it on the morning of check-out, and the private soup is still OK. In terms of meals, because we chose to eat out, we only booked breakfast. Each hot spring hotel tastes the same, and the price is not necessary. Finally, I found on major travel software that some of the hotel’s names were Songyue and some were Zhangyue, but in fact, this hotel only has a Japanese name, which translates to a string of Japanese words called Tonight Starry Sky or something. In short, it is worth recommending and worth coming again.

The hotel shuttle bus will drive to pick up and drop off guests according to the number of guests. The service staff are very friendly. The food has a variety of choices and tastes good. The environment is quiet and quiet. The room is very big. The only mattress is very old. It is recommended to replace it otherwise it will lose its elasticity when sleeping. It is quite hard. I had back pain the next day. I have special requirements for the bed, so I raised a question. The hot spring is not open in the open air. There are two hot springs in the room, low and high temperatures, and an oven. Overall, it is good and suitable. relax life

It was a comfortable, family-run Ryokan style inn. There is free parking for those who drive. It is also walking distance from the train station. We arrived after dark and the staff told us there was no more dinner, so they recommended us a dinner place nearby. For breakfast which was included, it was a full set and really delicious Japanese platter. We ate to our heart’s content. The onsen is located on the basement and the 4th floor, I like it specially for the rooftop onsen. The men and women onsen will swap at certain timings to allow each gender to enjoy the facilities at the rooftop. They give clear instructions on a piece of paper, and you just need to look at the colour of the cloth hanging outside the onsen. The hotel is located near the town centre, so you can walk around easily.

2.1 night 3500RMB, it feels a bit expensive. But this is a hot spring hotel with an excellent experience and impeccable service. Take a taxi from JR Gero Station to the hotel, free of charge. The reception staff is warm and thoughtful, and takes good care of every detail of the hotel and the room, which makes people feel very considerate. They don't even charge tips, which is very polite. Accommodation includes one night and two meals, the dishes are rich and varied, and the taste is amazing. Especially dinner, it can be called a feast for taste buds, but breakfast is slightly ordinary in comparison. The room I stayed in has its own private soup, and you can also watch the gorgeous fireworks festival. It is so comfortable that I didn't go to the open-air bath on the eighth floor of the hotel. The hotel also thoughtfully prepared welcome snacks, exquisite kimonos, and coffee in the lobby bar is also free, showing quality and care everywhere. Everything here makes me very satisfied, and the price of drinks is also very affordable. The only small drawback is that you have to eat breakfast at 8 o'clock and check out at 10:30, so you can't sleep in, otherwise it really can be called full marks💯

The overall experience was very satisfactory, and the Mandarin-speaking waiter arranged for us from Hong Kong and the communication was smooth. There is no shuttle bus at the location, but it takes more than ten minutes to walk from the JR station. If the luggage is not heavy, it is not too far. The hotel is beautiful, there is a letter shop at the beginning, and there is a foot bath hot spring pool. The seventh floor is a separate hot spring pool for men and women, with an open-air pool. The male soup faces the direction of the station and sees different scenery sooner or later. The female soup is very private, but there is no scenery. It seems that you can order private baths for men and women, but we have no time to try this time. The room is large, you can choose to make a bed, there is no problem for four people, but this time it is only my girlfriend and I. The view of the stream outside the room is particularly beautiful at night, but it is very light in the morning. It is recommended to bring your own blindfold to sleep later. There are special activities on Saturday, there are many performances and stalls, very atmospheric. Finally, meals, breakfast and dinner can not be missed, you can enjoy at a few designated times. We stayed for two nights, two days have different menus, the dishes have signature flying yak and fish raw, but the cooking method is different, very pleasant, it is recommended that two nights do not need to transfer to the hotel.
