Good sized rooms, very friendly, helpful and engaging staff. Good breakfast buffet with a wide selection of regional products. Good location close to the city center. The on-site restaurant looked really good, hope to be able to try it next time.

A great experience of hospitality, it is a very personal hotel with a lot of heart. The room was spacious and clean, I just missed a bathrobe and a little more. But the little things are all forgotten by the service and warmth. The breakfast is good, although modest. You should definitely visit the hotel's own restaurant, the cuisine is unbelievably good

Very winding and stepped, absolutely not wheelchair accessible, but that creates charm and cozy corners, apart from any conformity. The small, functionally furnished room in the attic was equipped with air conditioning, which you will definitely need in the summer. That's not really my thing, I don't like drafts or the noise of fans. Free parking right on the pedestrian zone, so centrally located. The breakfast, cleanliness, friendliness - everything was impeccable. The price surprised me, but unfortunately negatively, I found it a bit too expensive.

We spent a long weekend in the old editorial office with an Animod voucher. The booking was pleasantly easy, the reception was friendly and helpful. We had a small room directly facing the pedestrian zone. The room was clean and equipped with everything you would expect. The shower tray was very high, however, not for older people. In general, the hotel is very winding and has numerous stairs/steps due to the change in use of the former newspaper/publishing building. Absolutely not barrier-free and not for people with walking difficulties or older people. The breakfast was very varied and really good, the service staff were always attentive. We rented two Pedelecs from the hotel, but there is certainly room for improvement with the bikes. Overall, we were very satisfied and really liked it. Thanks to the voucher arrangement, the price-performance ratio was very good.

Wir waren 4 Tage, 3 Nächte in der Alten Redaktion und können wirklich nur positiv berichten. Alle sind freundlich, aufmerksam, nett und hilfsbereit. Alles war sehr sauber. Leider war das Restaurant während unseres Aufenthalts urlaubsbedingt geschlossen, aber darauf wurde ich bereits bei der Buchung hingewiesen. Das war dann einfach Pech. Ich bekam extra glutenfreie Brötchen morgens und hatten Allergiker Bettwäsche. Darauf wird also auch ohne Probleme eingegangen. Man muss es nur im Vornherein abklären. Das Hotel selbst ist ein wenig verwinkelt. War lustig das erste mal das Zimmer zu suchen 😂 Nur im Flur zum „Hinterausgang“ riecht es unangenehm. Da sind wir dann schnell durchgehuscht.

Wir waren für 4 Nächte mit dem Enkel (6 Jahre) im Hotel, hatten ein Zustellbett für ihn gebucht, und ein kleines zweites Zimmer bekommen, perfekt! Und das für einen Aufpreis von nur 25.-€ die Nacht. Da er zum Reisezeitpunkt noch keine 6 Jahre war wurde für das Frühstück nichts berechnet. Die Zimmer neu renoviert, das Personal durchweg sehr nett, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Auch sind die Zimmer nicht sehr hellhörig wie das in anderen Unterkünften oftmals der Fall ist. Die Lage inmitten der Stadt war für uns hervorragend, auch die Tips was man mit Kind unternehmen kann sehr hilfreich (auch von der netten bedienung im Lokal, vielen Dank). Und das angegliederte restaurant das wohl vom Sohn betrieben wird war wirklich hervorragend, gehobene Klasse aber nicht abgehoben, auch um den Enkel wurde sich sehr gut gekümmert. Wir kommen wieder!

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch das Frühstück in einem schöne Ambiente macht Laune für den Tag. Das Hotel kann ich wirklich nur empfehlen. Weiter so.
