Anantara Quy Nhon Villas

We really loved our stay at Anantara. There was so much attentiveness and care and we felt welcome. Apart from the staff/service our beach front villa was so dreamy. We will definitely be going back. Special mention to Andrew thank you for everything.

We loved our stay at the Ocean View Pool Villa. The views were amazing and it made us want to get up at 530am to witness the sunrise. Our villa was beautiful and spacious. The staff was attentive, informative, welcoming. The breakfast staff remembered my preferences. Food was delicious. Main pool has a beautiful setting. Very hot this time of year as expected.

Come for the 5 star luxury resort vibes and to stay at the best resort property near Quy Nhon. However, it was the professional and friendly staff that really left a lasting impact with me. I was genuinely sad to say goodbye on the last day. This is a relatively small property which allows the team to provide excellent but discreet levels of service. For example, you don't need to repeatedly tell the staff your room number because they remember these details. If you have any special orders at breakfast, for example, they will remember each day. Well done to all the staff particularly at the restaurant who are fabulous representatives of this high quality property. You won't need to leave the property but if you do, the city of Quy Nhon is only about a 15 minute drive away and easily accessible by taxi. It is also nice to have the option to visit and dine at Anantara's sister property, Avani, which is just next door a few minutes walking distance.

Everything was just perfect, rooms, food and staff. Great place to sit back and relax after a few days traveling around the country.

We arrived after a wonderful journey on the Vietage. About 35 mins from the city centre one drops off the main road and immediately enters a different world. So restful. It was our planned downtime between the bustle of our visits to major cities and didn't disappoint. Beach Villa 4 proved a fine location with spectacular sunrises over the adjacent island that acted as a tires alarm clock. The resort was very quiet and I assume was not close to full occupancy (and there are only 24 villas in any event) but that simply added to the sense of serenity. One has a beach and all the facilities almost to oneself as most residents rarely moved beyond their villas given how well appointed they are. All of the staff were wonderful and it is almost invidious to name people but in addition to Quy who was our Villa manager and looked after us with great care, we wanted to make special mention of Trieu who was a tremendous host at breakfast (a long and leisurely experience) and Tao who was exceptional during evening cocktails and dinner and such a joy to chat to. We made more use of the spa than we usually to and again the service / ambience was spot on although I suspect we made a poor choice when selecting the head and neck massage which was not quite the relaxing experience we were expecting. That is on us not the staff at the spa but I would suggest checking the nature of a treatment before booking it and not assuming it will be as one might find at home (UK in our case). We didn't venture far (we did use the restaurant at the adjacent resort which is more Vietnamese oriented menu wise) but if like is you want to have a relaxing block between sight seeing and touring I suggest you look no further. One warning is there are biting insects and whilst the resort is treated regularly (it had been on the day we arrived) we both got quite badly bitten on our second and third evenings despite using lots of repellant including that kindly supplied by staff)
