Ghent Hotels with Bars

Beautiful hotel with perfect view of a cathedral from our twin room. Hotel is in a historic building with lovely architectural features by the canal and the room we were in was a cleverly designed ”duplex” with the bathroom and sinks on the upper floor (ie loft) which made full use of the almost double volume ceiling in the smallish twin room we were in. The only drawback was that the steps were narrow and steep and would pose a problem if one had mobility issues. The toilet was located by the door next to the entrance but there was no sink for handwashing. Alcohol gel in a pump bottle was provided. There is a café, lifestyle / clothes shop and supermarket in the same building. Very convenient and the hotel's location was walkable to all the sights in Ghent central. The front desk staff were very polite and gracious and allowed us to store our luggage when we arrived before 11am, since check-in was strictly at 4pm. We were happy to find that our suitcases had been already delivered to our room when we returned to the hotel at 4pm. There are 2 bars in the hotel - one which is open to the public which was buzzing in the evenings and a guest-only ”Honesty Bar” (1st photo) in which hotel guests could purportedly help themselves to liquor and pen down what they had imbibed - but I never saw anyone in it ! This could be due to a lack of ice or mixers. Or glasses. 🍸

It is located in a very good location in the city center next to City Hall. There are a lot of restaurants and things to see nearby.

Excellent hotel in a central location within Gent. Very friendly, helpful staff and good amenities including an outdoor pool, small indoor gym and sauna room which needs to be pre-booked. I felt breakfast was overpriced for what it was, I’d skip and eat out.

The river view room is great value, and the location is great. The view of both sides of the Vanilla River from the window every day is amazing. The cruise ticket office is a 1-minute walk from the back door of the hotel. Anyway, all the attractions can be reached on foot. I really recommend it!

quite far from the train station but close to attractions. a rather old hotel. the door locks are the round shaped ones. the hot water supply of the shower was not quite steady. the room is quite small for europe i think. the plus side is they gave us the room well before the official check in time. we arrived at around 10:30 and they gave us the room right away. there is a free breakfast buffet as well (even my room choice is the most basic one).

The room is very large, the balcony room is set, and the only one is on the road. Room number 141, everyone avoids lightning. Because the car sounds at night. I also encountered construction in the morning and couldn't sleep well. Reaction with Trip was also solved. There is always a fox smell when the room opens, and the window needs to be opened for ventilation. It takes3-5 minutes to walk from the old street in the main district. The hotel environment is great.

The service attitude at the hotel front desk is super serious! We got to the airport early in the morning! There are staff waiting for you! The entire hotel has complete facilities and leisure facilities! There are two breakfasts! It tastes good! But luggage storage costs 2 euros! There is a bus stop nearby!

The location is very good, the station is 350 meters right, about 2.2 kilometers away from the attraction, Yan Road slowly walks to the attraction, feels the local street view is very good, about 450 from the hotel there is a ”Dunhuang supermarket” Chinese city, you can buy a lot of Asian food, instant noodles are a lot of European prices are very cheap, Can satisfy the Asian taste, the hotel is clean, quiet, and very comfortable to live. Ghent attractions are more beautiful than Brussels, and the security is much safer. Walking on the street makes people really feel the leisurely atmosphere of Europe (not comfortable at all in Paris)

Amazing helpful accommodating staff, spacious rooms, parking a bit expensive at 19 euros . The breakfast was good lots of choice 15 minutes drive from the centre The suite had beautiful large bed and everything and more to accommodate at very pleasant stay

No window opening is possible and the room is very warm. Air conditioning is all, even if it is in the indoor room. The air-conditioning does not even refresh the room, even at 16°. Parking is expensive and what a terrible ring to reach their parking. 1 departure from 3-armen missing and just ride around a quarter and try again. Who's signed the road plan there? All of it had a good seller! Sorry for the hotel! A hotel very nice, all furnished, delicious tables, very good beds, professional staff. I went there with the helicopter right away! ;)
