It's been a while since I came here. Select review. I'm usually lazy and won't take up time to review hotels, but this trip is still commendable. The boss can speak Chinese and prepared a good breakfast and dinner for us. Before we left, he kindly gave us small desserts and coffee. It was very kind. I will come again.

We drive from United Kingdom for a very short visit to Giethoorn. Plenty of free parking places at this place. Very safe and easy access. Fantastic welcome from the lady owner, very friendly staff and amazing Gabriella cooking for us the most delicious dishes . The Restaurant is clean and tidy and the terrace outside is outstanding. Three rooms with canal view, small individual terrace and bathroom tube inside the bedrooms, very posh. We didn't want breakfast but the staff insisted and send us fruits and a small bottle of Prosecco. Food was good with a pleasant plating. Prices a bit more than usual but is worth every penny, strongly recommended this place if you want to relax outside of the crowd.

Gastronomic dinner and breakfast in a beautiful setting (terrace and restaurant). But our room no. 16 in the "farm" ("de boerderij") was not at all like on the video on the hotel website: basic comfort, dark, no bedside tables or bedside lamps, old-fashioned bathroom separated from the room. Which justifies the average rating because of the value for money. How can we justify the 4-star rating in this case?

we had a room in the farmhouse. Was a unique experience, only the bathroom needs updating. The breakfast was the same every day but was good. The evening meal was very tasty. The staff are very friendly.

Nous avons seulement fait le restaurant et la location du bateau. Tout le personnel est très attentionné et souriant. La décoration, un peu désuète, donne du charme à la salle. Très calme, manger au bord de l’eau et loin du bruit des touristes, c’est appréciable.

We hadden gereserveerd en een bevesting gekregen maar men wist nergens van Gelukkig was de kamer nog beschikbaar maar toch niet echt netjes Kamer was klein maar goed bed en mooie badkamer Tv kijken gaat niet want doet het gewoon niet Diner was echt een afknapper Op de site staat dat je kan kiezen uit vlees of vis of vegetarisch maar het is een vastgesteld menu De keuze op een bloed hete zomerdag begrepen we niet Uiensoep voor af en Eend als hoofd gerecht Lijkt ons meer voor de herfst Echt culinaire was het zeker niet De eend was droog en ook de frietjes en gebakken aardappeltjes waren erg droog Ontbijt verder prima maar waarom mochten we niet buiten ontbijten Alleen toen alle tafeltjes vol waren mochten de naderhand gekomen gasten wel buiten ontbijten Al met al geen fijne ervaringen en dus beslist geen aanrader

Hotel op mooie locatie, erg vriendelijke bediening alles een beetje verouderd maar dat past bij de hele omgeving. Eten, ontbijt en bedden zijn gewoon goed. Het enigste wat ik persoonlijk jammer vind is de verouderde badkamer. Waar ipv alleen een bad minimaal een douche was hier nodig. Zeker voor een volgende keer dat wij terug komen.
