Absolute paradise. Very helpful staff. Will come again. 2 hrs drive from lombok airport follow by a 15mins boat ride to the island. Bring repellent.

We’ve had a great stay at Blue Mathis, fortunately for us we were the only guests for a part of it so really got to enjoy and profit from all that the resort has to offer. It’s quiet and from our walks and kayaks around the island we believe it is the nicest hotel and area on offer at Gili Asahan. Our room was spotless every day with fresh water in the fridge and the beds are very comfortable. Some of our best nights sleep have been here at the hotel. The staff go above and beyond to accommodate all your needs and we spent some great days kayaking, snorkelling and exploring the island. The swimming pool is great and is a lovely warm temperature. Overall we have no negative points from our experience at Blue Mathis resort, when we do return we will be staying here again without hesitation.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway or even for staying longer. I stayed here for 3 nights and had the best time. The view from my room was incredible. The room is beautifully decorated. The staffs are amazing. The foods are good. Great for family, couples, and solo travelers. Will def come back.

This is a peace of heaven, absolutely stunning luxury resort that is quiet, on a private beach and has the most friendly and attentive staff. I especially loved the receptionist Irfan, who was always super helpful and just lovely. The decor of the hotel is stunning and the beds and pillows are one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Whenever I had any issue, Irfan and / or Jacky, the GM were there to help and resolve it. The beach has a lots of coral and some rubbish (like it’s common in this part of the world), yet is stunning to enjoy - I was there most of the time alone. The breakfast is abundant as are the main dishes and very tasty. I would definitely come back when I am around this part of the world. One little strange thing was that the villas have blinds over their floor to ceiling windows, through which you can see a bit, so not 100% private but then as they are spread out, it felt ok. There was also fire every night and they organized my snorkeling trip and pick up from the airport. Really 5 star service. Thanks so much! “When you’re happy, I’m happy”

Exceptional place to stay. Very excellent service, they went extra miles to prepare the special birthday room request. The staffs are very nice and helpful. Definitely will go back. It’s a private area in the island but they provide the boat for accommodations.
