We arrived here with initially 2 nights reserved. The welcome was hardly existing. Until now we were welcomed in every lodge with warm or hot towels, a juicy drink, suitcase service and a briefing. Nothing of that here. Our driver even needed to take a suitcase out of the car. We ordered 1 beer in the room, they brought 2. Diner was horrible. In my spaghetti they threw a hole bottle of chili sauce it seemed, which made it uneatable, and the wrap was mediocre. All this made us decide to ask our driver to arrange another place for the second night, which luckily succeeded. Breakfast was good.

Lovely property on the lake with gardens Employees were very helpful and always available for any requests Breakfast was delicious Recommend a room on the bottom floor as has a lovely garden in front of balcony We ordered dinner while down at the lake and we’re called up to the restaurant when ready, food was a bit too salty but other than that all great

The setting of this hotel is really beautiful. Lovely gardens and great views of Lake Kivu. We spent a very peaceful couple of nights here and service was very good. We stayed in the bungalow, which is a real gem of a room. The food was simple but enjoyable (and came on time when pre-ordered).
