The room was very cool and nice, the bathroom floor was dirty when we got there, but they came up and cleaned it right away. We would stay here again!

We stayed here to be close to the SUF airport.
This hotel has so much character and old world charm.
The grounds are immaculate. The staff was amazing and helpful.
The restaurant was great with fresh fish specialties.
Comfortable bed, great shower.

Even in November, this resort/business hotel exudes charm. It has graceful grounds and an exceptional restaurant. As a solitary American business traveller, the warmth of the staff was very welcome. I will return with my wife and use this as base for exploring Calabria.

I needed an overnight stay after flying in from the USA. The hotel is just a short drive from the airport. The room and furnishings were elegant. The sea view was amazing. Staff was so helpful. Restaurants were closed on Monday night so did not get to sample those. Overall a very restful place to recover from jet lag.

Whenever we visit family, we are excited to return to Hotel Marechiaro and see all their great staff, especially Franco and Sylvia! The accommodations, service and property are all first class. Fairly new hotel maintaining the feeling of the area. Beach chairs and umbrellas are a must provide a lovely relaxing experience. Lifesaver is helpful and pleasant. Hotel is clean and well kept. Breakfast is plenty, is served to you. Coffee is good and made as you want it. Pool could be cleaner.

We had a huge room fronting the beach with a balcony. There was a large bath as well as a sophisticated shower. All the fittings were not more than a few years old. The staff were efficient and professional. The outside pool wasn’t open, it being April. There’s not a lot in the town itself but the beach is huge and there are kitesurfing schools and hire places just along the coast to the North (a very short drive but a longer walk). Only minor niggles: you only get 2 not 4 pillows on the double bed and the sink is so designer it couldn’t actually hold any water in the event that you are as retro as I am and want to wet shave with a brush. As I say, minor points.
