Facing the main square Hotel Cajupi is close to many restaurants. The outdoor dining area on the top floor offers a panoramic view ot the town and nearby plains. Rooms were clean with consistent wi-fi access. The hotel offer a modest breakfast buffet. When I dined there the only fruit served was sliced watermelon. The coffee was also weak.

Really well located, modern hotel. This hotel is just beyond the end of the road up to the town meaning you don't have to take your luggage too far! Modern hotel, stayed as part of tour group so can't comment on value for money. We stayed in a twin room, 3rd floor at the end of a corridor. Room was largish and a pleasant temperature, some natural light. Comfortable beds. Good bathroom, bit narrow but as a bonus the shower was powerful and had adjustable temperature control! Two bottles of complimentary water. From here you can walk easily (uphill!) to all of the shops and sights of this lovely town. My favourite thing about the hotel was the rooftop restaurant; ate here the first night we got here as we were tired and it was late - pleasantly surprised by the quality and reasonable price of the food. There is an outside eating area and you can get drinks served too here. Fab view of the modern town below and up towards the historic part of town too. Lots of coffee shops, bars and restaurants nearby and a small Greek mini-mart up and first right. Breakfast ok, standard Albanian: bread, jam, eggs etc but served in the rooftop restaurant.

Very near to the central tourist alleys but poor. LIke a two star in Europe although its a 4 star. Rooms very old. No practicable connection on the satellite TV and very few channels. One of the managers very rude to customers, doesnt know the concept of. Best in the area: the street dogs (registers by the town) very nice and cute.

Can't get any where more central, right in the square. Vehicles only allowed so far , it's a 5 minute walk. Easy check-in, lift temperamental, room clean and tidy, comfortable bed, decent shower. Only negative, there's no bedside light , bit of an inconvenience. Breakfast OK, great views from the dining room. I had a balcony with my room, great views.

A hotel in desperate need of renovation especially the common areas and the lodging. The breakfast was mediocre. Dinner was adequate in terms of food quality and service. Would I ever return? No. Would I recommend it to others? No.

Right on the edge of the old cobblestone paved streets of the city of stone. This hotel is very good option. Breakfast was very good. They do not accept credit cards.Bar service was also very good. We recommended!

Room very large but out look crap at back of hotel Had to make our own bed!!! Just a folded duvet cover on bed, had to make up with duvet Enclosed shower cubicle leaked all over the floor Cool, but no heating Electrics iffy - had a lighting cable crossing the bed at the pillow Breakfast typical Albanian, salad and some floppy warm stuff- at least there was watermelon for the yoghurt Coffee iffy. Orange was squash not juice The queue was horrendous - slow moving in a single line And why why why do these Albanian hotels have to pump crappy europop "music" into the dining room AND have a tele on as well

Centrally located hotel but right next to the new car parking construction site - no direct vehicle access, need to walk with your bags for 10 minutes or so to get to the hotel...generaly parking is quite challenging at the moment. Upside is that there is no vehicle noise in the old city. Everything is on a steep gradient, so mentally prepare yourself for that! Although room was spacious enough and had a good shower it was at the back of the hotel, dark and with no view. Aircon was good, as was the WiFi and breakfast.

The hotel is in a decent location, near the lower end of the bazaar. Construction meant we had to haul our bags about 100m. My room size was fine. The a/c was very good. It was the only hotel that had a kettle. My good luck failed in other respects. It was no remake of ‘Room with a view’. It took time for the hot water. The toilet seat would not stay up. The woman at reception seemed almost disgruntled when I asked about an electrical shop, perhaps unaware she is in the service industry.
