Honestly one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. We only picked this place as we were attending a wedding near by. The place was dirty, grubby and all the furniture was shabby and looked ready for the skip. The shower tray was ready to overflow after only a few minutes in the shower. The carpet on the stairs was loose at points, a real tripping hazard. We were called the day before and given the code for the front door and our room number, which was lucky, as we didn't see a single member of staff the whole time we were there. The only saving grace was that the bed sheets and towels seems clean and fresh and there was free parking at the back of the building.

I stayed at this hotel in September 2022. This was the worst place I have ever stayed in ! There was no one at the property and I had to call and wait almost an hour for a return call to give us the access code to get in. The room we were assigned was a basement room. The bathroom was moldy and disgusting with leaky taps and broken fixtures . The carpet in the main room was worn and stained as were the beds and desk. The room was also not clean with lots of spider webs. The bulb burned out in the only working light in the bedroom almost immediately. The one and only window had cracked and broken window panes. Thankfully we were there for only one night. My advice is to avoid at all costs. To add insult to injury the room was not cheap costing over $200 for the night.

We booked this room through Airbnb and on arrival approximately 7pm we both wanted a shower but we discovered no towels, no shampoo and no hairdryer. These were all stated as facilities on the website. The carpet was very badly stained and dirty. The shower was cracked and black mould throughout. The overall experience was one we do not want to experience again

This was the worst "hotel" I have ever stayed at in my entire 70 years of life on this earth. There were no employees at the property. I had to call for the front door access code. The room was a dark damp dank basement room with stained and dirty furniture and carpeting. The bathroom was moldy and disgusting. There were holes in the wall and the glass in the one window was cracked. Avoid at all costs. I had no choice but to stay there for a night as it was late in the afternoon when we arrived from London. I immediately contacted AGODA for a refund and was given the run around for weeks from their customer NO service department. I wasted over $200 on this room as I prepaid the room months in advance and AGODA would not provide a refund. JUST SAY NO to AGODA and to the Georgian House "hotel or more correctly" hovel" in Glasgow Scotland

The hotel was reasonably priced although I was disappointed that ********** added taxes which put the rate up by about 30%. I thought that breakfast was included but it isn’t. The hotel is in a good location but parking nearby is expensive and there is a limit of 3 hours- difficult if you are staying overnight. There is no reception. I was sent a key pad code by text. I booked 2 nights but only stayed one because I was worried about security. They shouldn’t really call themselves a hotel. At best I would say it is a guest house. My room was very clean and I would have been happy to stay a second night if I had traveled as a couple. I did not feel comfortable as a woman travelling on her own.

We were told we had the 'Best room in the place', I'd hate to see the worst! The hotel contains a lot of period features, which included the mattresses, probably been around since Georgian period. Yes we had tea making facility, which was a kettle that you had to plug in in the only electric socket on the skirting board on the other side of the room. TV was pretty non existent as could only get BBC. The only staff we saw was on the night of arrival and a cleaner who seemed friendly enough. It was like the Marie Celeste otherwise. There was continual noise from the room next door with doors banging continually through the night. There were large wooden shutters on the bathroom window which we closed for privacy, only to reveal paint peeling behind them. No somewhere to be recommended.

We booked two months in advance for a World Irish Dance Championships 2024 participant and her mother. Later we read comments that scared us quite a bit and we feared the worst. Due to plane issues we had to coordinate by phone with Liam (the person who responded to us from the place) the arrival of both and he was very kind in his responses. They found something much better than what they initially read: - Bright room on the third floor. Simple room, very clean and tidy. - Excellent location in front of the Botanical Garden in a good traditional area with restaurants and cafes and a couple of blocks from a metro station. - Well painted, simple and tidy place. Considering that it is not a modern place. - Good heating. - Details such as the bathroom door not closing properly and the toilet tank taking a long time to fill and that you come and go with codes without staff. But if what you want is a place to sleep and move around quietly, it's fine.

No Cleaning equipment. Dirty linen. Horrible beds. Fishy smells. Dirty curtains thrown up. Scrap-garbage thrown up. Clumsy toilets. Dirty Carpets. ******* feeling!!! Not to be recommended this 200 years old building if not properly maintained. Charges are way too high!! THE OWNER SHOULD SPEND MONEY ON RENOVATION OR GIVE IT TO ME FOR A YEAR TO MAKE 360DEGREES TURN AROUND!!
