In the Glendale area of LA, very close to Universal Studios, and a little distance from Disney and Santamonica. Originally, this level of hotel is expensive, but we chose this hotel because we were going to stay for 3 consecutive days and considering the security in LA. Good points: Newly built hotel, very clean, with parking lot, paying for parking in LA makes people feel at ease...; free hot water and coffee, and mineral water will be provided by the front desk. General points: Breakfast remained the same for three days, very monotonous; parking costs $25 a night (people from Shanghai B area say it's too expensive!

The room is very small. After checking out, the front desk inexplicably deducted the deposit. I went back and negotiated and dealt with it. The hotel is on the second floor, without stairs, very close to the Porto bakery, and the entrance is a public parking area

Attended a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Parked at the L.A Zoo which is close to the Glendale. Hotel. Booked the room based on the good reviews i had read. We were very impressed. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. (Wish i remember his name) our Queen room had a Jacuzzi tub. Parking was easy and safe, bed was comfy and room was very clean. Will stay there again when attending the bowl.

Great Motel-To Hotel Conversion & Very Nice location! I arrived for a weeklong stay in a room with the Jetted Tub, checked in & did my deposit which I knew of but the parking (one car should be included in what I paid) was $12 a day. So that basically doubled my deposit & took away from my trip a little bit. The weather didn’t cooperate too much but my room was very comfortable. Bed allowed great sleep, the massive tub in room definitely relaxed me. I enjoyed conversation with the front desk staff but the breakfasts were small & no real selection. That to me was okay because there were a lot better food options around but at least have a little more quality stuff like eggs/sausage over two dry cereals & bagels with no waffles or anything hot & ready. The Parking & breakfast were the only complaints. Any hotel I’ve stayed has sounds every now & then. Hotel Xilo had small horn honks or sirens but unless other guests were by my door area I heard minimal. New modern shower/sink/toilet/tub made it worth the stay. Curtains appeared dry cleaned, the carpet was very clean. A great experience I will never forget.

It is our second stay at this location. We stay two nights because we went to Universal Studios. Our kids love this hotel. Everyone from staff was great. Our room was clean and what we had expected. Nights were very quiet, no noise at all. There was happy our, really snacks and drinks, so we had some sodas and chips to head to Hollywood. The made to order complimentary breakfast each morning was a big saving in our trip, and we really enjoyed it. The bellboy went above and beyond to help us. We are ddefinitely comming back.

I love this hotel. We are visiting from Texas. The staff and front desk hosts definitely give you wonderful service. They serve in excellence. We are Hilton diamond members and decided to give the competitor a try. This hotel did not disappoint. The rooms were so cozy and the beds are super comfortable. They even accommodated an early check in as it was available. The hot tub was wonderful and relaxing. The breakfast was of good quality. The hotel even held our luggage and groceries at check out because our next check in is not until 3pm at our next destination. I like that the hotel is close to a mall, restaurants, bars, and public transportation. I definitely will return to this hotel.
