Ein sehr ansprechendes neu renoviertes Haus, mit einer tollen Kombi aus denkmalgeschützter Schwarzwald-Stube und hochmodernem Frühstücksraum. Das Frühstück bietet beste regionale Zutaten von den umliegenden Höfen und Extraschmankerl sind nach guter badischer Tradition außergewöhnlich gut. Die offenen Aufenthaltsräume halten einen Kaffeeautomaten, Weinkühler und weiteres rund um die Uhr vor. Der Service ist hervorragend, zu jeder Frage oder zu Anliegen wird sofort Hilfe gesucht. Angekommen und wohl gefühlt. Herzlicher Empfang und Erklärung der Location. Ausreichend Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel. Moderne und historische Parts gut kombiniert. Zimmer und Bad modern und mit Balkon möglich, mit Blick auf die Glotter. Frühstück ausgezeichnet mit toller Bewirtung und leckeren Zusatzspeisen u.a. Eierspeisen. Frische ausgezeichnete Produkte. Einfach nur lecker. Personal super freundlich.

Ich habe selten in einem Hotel (ausser in Asien) eine derart harte Matratze angetroffen. Sie hat mir den Schlaf geraubt. Der wasserdichte Matratzenschoner in Kombination mit einem Bettlaken, das 20% Synthetikanteil hatte, hatte noch dazu ein unangenehmes Bettklima zur Folge. Ob dies Auflage wirklich eine Hygienevorschrift ist kann ich nicht beurteilen. Fairerweise: Alle anderen meiner Gruppe waren mit der Matratzenhärte zufrieden. Das Raumdesign mit maximal minimalistischen Ablageflächen neben dem Bett ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, eben alles „lean“. Aber das war ja schon von den Bildern im Internet bekannt. Das Frühstück war phänomenal. Auch positiv: Die Kaffeemaschine, wo man sich jederzeit in Eigenregie (kostenpflichtig) einen Kaffee oder Tee ziehen kann. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr zuvorkommend und jederzeit bereit, einen Stuhl zu organisieren, so dass man sich dann auch an den Designerschreibtisch setzen kann.

Das Hotel Schloßmühle ist nach der Renovierung ein echter Geheimtipp. Das Ambiente der ehemaligen Mühle konnte sehr gut erhalten werden, kombiniert mit frisch renovierten Zimmern und einem tollen Spa-Bereich inkl. Sauna mit Blick ins Grüne und auf den Bach Glotter – einfach herrlich. Beeindruckend fanden wir vor allem, dass dem Inhaber wirklich der Blick fürs Detail gelungen ist. So finden sich im ganzen Hotel schöne, luxuriöse Möbel; die ehemaligen, bunten Glasfenster aus dem Speiseraum dienen nun als Farbkonzept in den einzelnen Hotelzimmern – diese Liebe zum Detail zieht sich durch das ganze Hotel. Sehr angenehm haben wir auch den Service der Rezeption empfunden, der beispielweise auch Restaurantempfehlungen und -buchungen übernimmt. Abgerundet wurde der sehr gute Service u.a. durch den Koch beim Frühstück der auf Wunsch A-la-Carte-Gerichte frisch in der offenen Küche zubereitet.

Wir waren letzte Woche für eine Nacht im Hotel. Da ich eine Gehbehinderung habe, war der Aufzug und das Restaurant im Nebengebäude eine hervorragende Sache. Die Zimmer nach hinten sind ruhig. Die Hoteleinrichtung ist schon älter, aber gepflegt und sauber. Das Bad war neu. Die Rezeption und der Frühstücksservice waren freundlich und haben Wünsche gerne erfüllt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichlich und voller Auswahl. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
