Uroczysko Siedmiu Stawów

Uroczysko Siedmiu Stawow is not just a luxury castle hotel. Its story is an inspiration in itself. When ruins are restored into something beautiful, when a castle in ruins is given another lease of life, like the phoenix that arises from the ashes, then one cannot but be inspired and grateful to those who put in so much effort and love to accomplish this. The Polish couple who now own it are the heroes. They loved it enough to undertake a 13yr project to restore it and save it. They also bought 13 hectares of ground, incorporating a forest and lakes, from the government.The ruins are now an elegant, lovely, well cared for luxury hotel. As a member of the Occitane de Provence group, the hotel has a wonderful spa and large swimming pool. The room we had was not large, but, it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The meals we had for dinner in the hotel's restaurant were delicious. Many of the vegetables and fruit are grown on the castle grounds, and, of course, no chemicals are used. I was very impressed by the variety of vegetarian, vegan and vegan free meals on offer. Have never seen this before, in any hotel. Lovely pottery pieces make up part of the hotel's decor and we were told that the owners do their best to promote young artists. This castle, like all others in Lower Silesia, were taken from their German owners after World War 2. What really impressed us and made us respect the now Polish owners even more is the the fact that they have kept in touch with the German family who owned it before the war, thus keeping part of the castle history alive. The area is beautiful, rolling hills, forests and meadows with yellow flowers in the summer, are waiting to be explored, with many country lanes through small villages, making this possible. Only an hour away from Wroclaw/Breslau by car, we highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Exceptional setting: luxury castle-hotel with large park and woods with ponds Total change of scenery We made some great visits to Lower Silesia: Arboretum, Wroclaw….. Excellent Restaurant A cozy and luxurious setting The gourmet menu served with half-board is delicious. All dishes are refined, original preparations created by the chef. The service is very careful with great attention paid to customers.

Ten hotel to cudowny wybór. Obsługa jest na światowym poziomie i czuć, że komfort oraz zadowolenia gości to priorytet. Jedzenie jest wyśmienite i spełni każde oczekiwania. Pokoje są przestronne i dopracowane. Świetny basen z prawdziwego zdarzenia, cudowne tereny wokół i obiekt, który swoim wykończeniem oraz stylem sprawia, że nie chce się wyjeżdżać. Zdecydowanie warto przyjechać i poznać to miejsce, żeby móc do niego wracać.

A castle refurbished with great attention to detail and with respect to history, gorgeous atmosphere in the entire property. Rooms nicely done yet not all of them are as spacious as one would imagine. Staff is very attentive and polite. Superb breakfast, the only diner I spend here was not extraordinary while it was visible they were trying hard. Quiet and relaxing spa area. Overall a very pleasant stay, would come back for more.
