RRR99A very nice place to stay, the rooms are very clear, the staffs were friendly and helpful. Location wise, it’s about 20 mins away from main surface paradise area.

GGuest UserThis is my second stay. It should be the best hotel (apartment) in Surfers Paradise. Generally, apartments are cleaned every three days, but Soul cleans every day. The location is very good. Just downstairs and across the road is the beach. There are many restaurants around, which is convenient for dining. The room is very large and spacious, very suitable for family travel. I will choose Soul again next time. It's really great!

LLFrankThis resort is located in a quiet and green golf area so it’s very comfortable. It takes about 15 to 20 mins to anywhere by driving in the Gold Coast area. The resort has literally everything you need (pool, golf course, tennis court and free breakfast for us).
It’s not new premise though and needs some renovations soon. But things are kept generally clean and tidy.
At the price I paid, it’s great value for money. My kids love this place. Will come again.

GGLGLConvenient location directly connected to shopping mall with a supermarket at the basement and direct link via the shopping mall to the beach. Hotel is a bit worn out but still serviceable, only problems are lights are not bright enough and there is only rain shower and no shower head for the bathroom.

GGuest UserLocation is near to surfer paradise north tram station. Nice ocean view. 1 aircon was leaking, the other aircon had noises. Housekeeping didn't turn up, we stayed for 7 nights. Dish washing detergent and sponge were not provided, we are unable to wash utensils at the kitchen. The dishwasher does not get the utensils clean...

SShannan LeeThe location is perfect and centrally located in the heart of shopping centres, walking distance to the beach and night life.
Great rooms on the 22nd floor. The beds are very comfortable, and the room is spacious for up to 3/4 people.
The downside for us was that the staff at the reception told us that there wasn't a restaurant located in the hotel when we enquired while checking in, so we went out to look for something to eat after we checked in to the hotel, only to get back to find a brochure in our room advertising a Cafe conveniently located in the hotel for guests.
I highly recommend that the staff need to be informed of any changes in the hotel so that they are able to provide accurate information about the hotel to the guests.
The check-in and check-out process was great, made conveniently for guests and staff, there's no long cues at the reception👍🏾
We'll definitely be returning.

GGuest UserIts a very old hotel, room was quite clean inside however in much need of a renovation as so much was old, slightly broken and outdated. The outside area (bbq and pool) was incredibly dirty and neglected. Tiles all cracked inside the “small pool” which im sure was supposed to be a spa that doesnt work and everything was mouldy and unkept.
The location is good if you want to be near caville ave.
Paying and extra $15 per night for parking isnt reasonable on top of the booking cost. This is maybe a 3 out of 10
Kids liked the water slide which was the only redeeming quality.

GGuest UserSurfers Beach Holiday Apartments was a great place to stay for our family. The management was helpful. Rooms were of a good size. The location is quiet. It is a easy walk to catch the G:tram. This makes getting to Surfers Paradise or other locations easy. Riding the G is also much cheaper and easier than trying to find parking for the car. While we were there, there were few people using the pool. Our grandkids had a great time... and mostly had the pool to themselves. I didn't realize there wasn't an elevator.(My fault for not checking.) Being on the third floor normally wouldn't have been an issue. Because of health issues for one of our family members, it would have been easier if we had been on a lower floor. If I had contacted the management when booking they said they would have tried to give us a lower floor. It's a great place and I highly recommend it.

MMelzza23Unfortunately we did not have a great stay. We booked 3 apartments for a family vacation and all 3 had issues. All 3 apartments had faulty air cons. 1 air con didn’t work at all and also a toilet in that apartment didn’t work either. Also when we arrived, we found one of our carparks had a car parked in it and that 2 other guests were allocated the same Carpark as us. We all contacted the letting company and all guests were told to seek help from the apartment reception who then told us all to contact the letting company as they don’t deal with the private apartments and their carparks. So it was back and forth for hours, we even visited the office twice until the car was finally removed. In terms of the no aircon/ broken toilet room, we were told there was nothing the letting company could do about it as they only have 1 staff member on so we’d have to wait for the next day and that some of our cost would be refunded (We are still waiting). The next day, in the morning the staff member visited and said the aircon is broken and they’ll have to find another room so will get back to us. It was close to the letting company’s closing time and we hadn’t heard back so we followed up only to be told there’s no more rooms available and our family would have to make do with the fans. Our family members in the no aircon room got sick from the heat/ stuffiness even with the doors and windows open. The amenities - lagoon, gym and pool are awesome So it was really unfortunate we did not enjoy our stay due to the lack of upkeep of the apartments and the service.

GGuest UserI checked in on Monday afternoon and went to my room. After unpacking I laid on the bed with a cup of coffee as I had been driving for five hours to get there. Within ten minutes a guy walked into my room dragging a suitcase. I was up off the bed in a flash and he took off saying sorry as he fled. You need a pass code, not a card to enter the room so obviously the receptionist gave this bloke my room code. I went straight to reception, but it was empty. There were half a dozen people waiting to check in. They were told the receptionist went to pick up a mate from work and would be back in 5 minutes. They said they had been waiting there 40 minutes. I went back down to the reception half an hour later and he said sorry and that was it. He had given someone else my room entry number and sorry was all i got. I never slept for two nights , every noise i heard sounded like my door being opened. I had a 5 hour drive back home with no sleep. The aircon barely worked and took two full days to start feeling cool and I couldn't get hot water through it. It took a couple of minutes to get it to shut off. The mixer was obviously had it. I was down on the coast to visit and help care for a n old mate of mine who doesn't have long to live. I left early morning and returned later at night so no one on reception to inform about my problems. I expect I will have several more trips down to the coast but will not stay here again. I hope this gets passed on to the Hope Harbour management.
