Had the privilege of staying in many memorable places but few compare to 185 On the Beach and Gordon’s Bay. The suite was superb with views to die for and to wake to the sound of the sea was very special indeed. Thank you Jeanette and her team for the wonderful experience, hope to see you all again soon

Beautiful home right at the beach. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast. Very comfortable room. They thought about everything. We loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer.

We could see the sea and the harbour directly from our bed. We could sunbathe and relax on our terrace. Breakfast was also served there, which was incredibly relaxing for us. The room is high and spacious. We had the Premier Suite ‘Wavecrest Luxury Suite’. The team was very friendly and the breakfast was good. Delicious pancakes. From there, it was only a few steps to the rustic restaurant ‘The Thirsty Oyster’, where we had a good dinner.

A fabulous experience staying at 185. The location is simply stunning with amazing views across False Bay. A short walk into town for some excellent restaurants. Loved our apartment and staff very friendly . Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Probably the best bed we ever slept on. We want the same at home! Beautiful views of the ocean and the breakfast was very generous. We stayed there as a big family of 7 with 4 generations and everyone enjoyed it. Baby bath and chairs were made available for free.

The apartment is a bit small, uncomfortable couch.tiny balcony,I felt unsave sitting on the balcony,scared I'm going to fall over the rail. Love the view
