The location of the hotel is very good. It is very beautiful at night. The breakfast is also great. The service is also great. We have a pleasant holiday in Cappadocia. We are also lucky to take a hot air balloon ride.

A lovely hotel with great views of the valley and the balloons. The rooms are nice, bathrooms have heated floors and towel warmer. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The hosts are good to communicate and even arranged an airport shuttle. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location - really… And staff SOOO helpful in all regards. We would absolutely return to this wonderful place any time. Amir - The Dark Church is called by that name, because it only has one quite small window through which light can enter…

It Is a nice hotel but we where in the late season that was the reason for a lot of bad experience ! The barrel bar was closed on the evenings and on Sunday in total ! The „harem“ room is not suitable for three ! If you ever need the extra bed please check it ! Constructing the new stairs happens in front of our room ! Personal was friendly but the info we received was not failed ! Sorry Breakfast was great with a lot of choices. Don’t expect filtercoffee after the first 6 guests !

Best location Close to restaurants and shops. Warm welcome and every staff member were friendly, warm and just lovely. Going out of their way to insure we happy. Rooms were comfortable and clean. So cosy. We loved the open Terran and winter atrium to view the town in a heated area. The breakfast buffet was excellent too. We will definitely be recommending Shoe String to all our friends.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at Shoestring Cave Hotel in Cappadocia! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcomed and taken care of. My flight was delayed by several hours, but Omid went above and beyond to make sure I got to the hotel safely. He reassured me during the whole process and was incredibly kind when I finally arrived late at night. Knowing I hadn’t eaten in hours, he showed me where I could get food and shared so much useful information about Cappadocia—his help really made my trip stress-free. Another standout was Yalçın. After my incredible balloon ride, he was so helpful and even offered to take photos of me on the hotel’s rooftop. As a solo traveler, I couldn’t have captured those beautiful moments without his help! He was so kind and even introduced me to his adorable cat, which added a warm, personal touch to the experience. The hotel itself was stunning. My room was comfortable and beautifully designed, the facilities were top-notch, and the breakfast was just superb—such a vast selection of hot and cold food, along with various juices to choose from. Every part of my stay exceeded expectations. I 100% recommend Shoestring Cave Hotel, especially for solo travelers. The staff really go the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable!

This hotel is wonderful for the price you pay. We stayed for 2 nights in a cave room and one night in a deluxe cave room. I recommend the later. It was wonderful! The breakfast is superb, lots to eat and choose from. The views from the terrace are absolutely incredible. Swimming pool is good. The staff are really super friendly and will help you book all your tours. They got us a great price on a balloon tour, it was a small one- only 10 people and lasted an hour at sunrise. It was absolutely incredible! Our other tours were great too, especially the red tour. If you have to choose, choose red tour.

I absolutely loved this little place The room was cute very spacious The breakfast was delicious however they have ice for your juice but maybe the juice & milk could be put in the fridge? Thats my only negative The staff were absolutely amazing hands down exceptional service from before my stay right up until i checked out. The location is brilliant I highly recommend staying here. Its clean safe great environment they cater for everything you need!! Any questions or queries or concerns they answer for you!!! 10/10 If i ever return I’ll definitely book here
