Wonderful old-world palazzo situated within walking distance of the Castle and across the street from two popular restaurants. Our room had elegant furnishings with brocade drapes and tall windows overlooking the central courtyard. Surprisingly there were few guests and we missed breakfast so I can't rate the included meal. The amenities were basic and we arrived when a new staff member was being trained so service was slow. Parking at the nearby university was a short walk away.

A beautiful hotel! During my stay I was able to appreciate two different accommodations, including the best suite in the hotel! Truly top notch! Excellent and varied continental breakfast for every need. Large internal parking. Great friendliness and education from the staff!

Discreet hotel in Gorizia. Large room, blind bathroom with non-working fan. Poor breakfast!!!! No fruit (apart from a basket with 4 apples), the savory menu consisted only of cold cuts, croissants were already finished at 9am!!!! Not really up to a 4 star rating!!!

Nice hotel on the outside but a disaster on the inside. I am writing on behalf of a couple of friends who stayed for two nights. Rude reception staff. I asked to change rooms as I found cockroaches in the room and they told me to sleep on them and if they bother me to communicate with the night colleague. I asked for information on a taxi and they replied that it is difficult to book. Conclusion Not recommended and not a 4 star hotel. Not recommended

The Grand Hotel Entourage, a sober and refined historic residence that has also hosted the royal family of France, is one of the most beautiful hotels I have been lucky enough to stay in in Italy. It overlooks a lively porticoed square; the rooms are wonderful, perfectly soundproofed, clean and equipped with every comfort (it was really worth upgrading to the superior). And again: well-heated environment, essential oil detergents, soft bathrobes, slippers, giant TV screen. Parking is easily found in the square in front of the hotel, but the structure also has a convenient private car park which is preferable to book. Highly professional reception staff: welcoming, smiling, full of information. Breakfast is served in an elegant vaulted room with exposed stone; I infinitely appreciated that the hot drinks, i.e. my indispensable coffees and a fabulous cappuccino, are prepared at the bar service and not dispensed by the machines now in use even in multi-starred establishments. It's the details that make the difference... I think I have visited almost everything that was possible to visit in Gorizia, for me the city of Michelstaedter; I only regret that the synagogue hosting an exhibition space dedicated to him was closed. I also recommend the very interesting and free virtual experience at the Carige Foundation and an evening at the Nova Gorica Casino. I hope with all my heart to return in 2025 and to have the same room as this unforgettable stay. Thanks to all the staff.

Excellent location a stone's throw from the centre. Spacious room with two windows, excellent cleanliness. Abundant sweet and savory breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. A small negative note was the air conditioning fan which could not be turned off at night!
