A very nice experience at Romantik Hotel. The receptionist was nice, and all the furnishings were very clean. I enjoyed the room very much. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. The only hot food I got was eggs; I was expecting some hot sausages.

Reaching a 5 - 7 min walk from the main station, the hotel is very conveninent for both city sightseeing and access to the station. The room is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is basic but freshly prepared. The hotel also has a classic German-style restaurant where I enjoyed the meal very much. Definitely, I will stay there next year again for the famous Handel Festival.

Unterirdisch: die Matratze war eine Art Meer, mindestens 30 Jahre alt, ich konnte kaum schlafen. Die Fenster lassen sich nicht kippen. Am Schreibtisch gibt es keine Steckdose, man spannt dann das Kabel durchs Zimmer, als Fallstrick für sich selbst. Das Klopapier ist vom Klo aus nicht zu erreichen. Der völlig unnötige Teppich zwischen Bett und Schreibtisch ist so abgeschabt, dass man an mehreren Stellen durchschauen kann. Beim Frühstück gibt es für Leute, die keine Laktose vertragen, laktosefreie Milch. Sonst nichts! Nicht mal ein Stück Hartköäse. Geschweige denn Joghurt. Joghurt gibt es für niemanden, es gibt keine Croissants. Dafür aber einen 3 Euro schokoglasierten Ekelkuchen aus dem Supermarkt. Und das bei diesem PREIS! Vielleicht wegen der risigen Lampen, die überall rumstehen, etwa am Bett, so dass nichts anderes Platz hat? TIPP: Wegbleiben.

Leider bezüglich des Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis eher mangelhaft, ein großer Investitionsstau liegt gefühlt vor, etwas angesammelte Teppiche auf den Zimmern, als Gast empfindet man nicht den Premium Status, den das Hotel eigentlich vermitteln will. Auch das Frühstück eher so lala, eher im normalen. Ärgerlich, dass ein Elektroladen des PKW nicht möglich ist, da der Zugang zur Lade-Säule vom Personal nicht freigeschaltet werden kann.

Ein gutbürgerliches, mit einiger Patina behaftetes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Wegen der guten Lage (in Bahnhofsnähe, aber doch nicht weit vom Zentrum) und dem guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis zumindest für einen Kurzaufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen. Wer ein opulentes Frühstück und eine gefüllte Minibar erwartet, wird allerdings enttäuscht.

Schönes Hotel, elegant eingerichtet. Sehr schönes Frühstück. Tolles Personal. Die Zimmer sind klassisch eingerichtet und in den Betten schläft man sehr gut. Immer wieder gerne. Das beste ist die perfekte zentrale Lage in einer trotzdem Ruhigen Gegend.

Wer Kronleuchter mag ist hier gut aufgehoben. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, ein klassisches elegantes Hotel mit edler Einrichtung. Wir hatten ein Blich zur Straßenseite, man blickte direkt in einen herrlichen Baum. Neue Fenster sorgen dafür, dass man von der Straße nichts mitbekommen hat. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, nichts außergewöhnliches. Für Vegetarier/Veganer wenig Auswahl.
