Alexius Beach Hotel

At night they entered our room and stole our money. There are no surveillance cameras, those at the reception are not functional. There is no bottled water. Insufficient and poor quality food. Very dirty dishes. The rooms are not cleaned, the linen and towels are not changed. Internet does not work on the beach or in the pool area. The lighting in the hotel is very poor Please avoid this hotel!

Where to start. 1st the positives. The location is nice and the pool area is lovely. The staff work extremely hard, seemed to work every minute. Now to the negatives. The outer building is so inviting but the rooms are a disgrace, they are filthy and we're cleaned once during our stay. The water stopped twice in our room, WiFi is £10 for the week and isn't the best, the door stuck and my daughter couldnt get out the room, no remote for the TV, had to steal loo roll from the communal loos as half a roll was provided, Aircon wasn't very effective. The food albeit serviceable was limited and repetitive and left out and swarming with flies. All inclusive os a joke, soft drinks (unbranded) beer, vodka and raki, that was it and the bar manager was a miserable sod. There were lots of cats in the complex which I didn't mind but their faeces wasnt cleaned up and the smell of cats urine in the main vestibule seating area and sun lounge area would have knocked you out. We had to move rooms 3 times as they seemed to have an issue with catering to 3 adults and ended up having to pay extra just to get the necessary number of beds despite it being stated in the booking. There is entertainment nightly but the Beldibi region mainly caters to Russian and European guest so there wasn't really much we could do and there is only a small number of restaurants in the area. I guess the old adage is true, pay peanuts and get monkeys. It's worth investing a bit more and staying in a decent place.

Unfortunately I cannot give this place a 0 star, it is easily the worst place I’ve ever stayed and cannot recommended enough that you stay away from this awful place. I would not go back if offered to for free it would not be worth it. Attached photos shows just a few of the awful things this hotel has to offer. We met a lone English woman who tried to photograph some more problems which was then met by the manager snatching her phone and demanding her to delete the photos, the rooms are unhygienic dirty unliveable places, people live in prison with more luxury than we had. English people are treated like scum with a short selection of drinks where as the Turkish/Russian get offered cocktails and premium drinks. You have to go to the front desk to get toilet roll as the rooms are not cleaned or restocked. No towels issued. bugs and flies everywhere. Flies all over the food and stray dogs running round the restaurant and the dining area begging stray cats. They offer an all inclusive option but the drinks stop at 10pm and opens at 10am with people Only being allowed to have 1 drink at a time and no doubles. The “entertainment” is awful and that’s even if there is entertainment on. They have reps going round the tables literally pestering you to go to clubs and do not take no for an answer. The rooms are unsafe we was sat in our room and people just walk in the rooms and my girlfriend was sat in her underwear. I Cannot encourage you more, pay a little extra and go somewhere nicer as we had to pay extra money to stay at another hotel in Kemer as we could not stand staying there for another night.

Overall hotel is not 4 starts, but looking that we paid 1000$ for 7 nights for two is not that bad on the budget. From advantages is people who work here, animation, reception and spa personal are really nice and welcoming people. As well view is amazing.Would advise hotel to do reconstruction as well improve cleaning, it supposed to be every single day or at least every second day.

Booked two rooms with Opdo/ EDreams as we got to the rooms one room it’s had Lizards on the beds, and plenty of deadly ants my children were traumatised, electric wall socket were hanging with wires exposed! we all slept in one room the management was not helpful at all and neither prime membership with Opdo holiday company. Waited two day then we paid more and checked in to another hotel! Still in Turkey until 01/09/23
