Generally to all considering this hotel - try to avoid. It's not worth the money, try any other hotel in the area. 1. Check-in / check-out - reception was good and smooth. 2. Parking service - very helpful, thank you very much! 3. The location is good: the city center. That's it for the good part, now the bad part. 1. Rooms are old and outdated. Beds are old, sofa was old, everything is 2000. Got no issues with the old style hotel but, some furniture is simply broken or extremely used. In my room there was a boiler installed in the closet. Was generating heat and noise. The bed frame was broken... Was twice fixing it myself, last time I gave up. Lots of drilled tiles, glue and cracks all over the bathroom. Like someone was doing repairs (which is understandable, and appreciated) but did not try to make it look nice after repair was done. 2. Last night before departure some strange insect appeared in the room. Felt like a radioactive cockroach from fallout or cockamouse from how I met your mother. It went back to the ventilation so I had to sleep with the lights on. I am not joking - it was huge, not a small bug. 3. The pool was closed. Yup. That's it. The hotel that has a pool has closed the pool because it's not ready for the season yet. No notice on the website or at any booking services. Talked at the reception, they advised me to write an official complaint... Did that - 3 weeks of silence. That brings me to the conclusion that hotel staff do not care about their reputation - they care only about income. If so one more reason to stay away. 4. Breakfast was so so. One morning we decided to have breakfast at the restaurant nearby :) Overall, guys seriously pick another hotel in the area. Do not bother with this one, there should be better options from the owners that care about their hotel, customers and reputation. This one does not, which is sad because it feels like the hotel was great 20 years ago.

They were very nice as we got a bigger room than we ordered. Very nice gift in the room (panettone, champagne). Unfrtunately this hotel is a little bit old and poor quality for everything, everywhere... The room is old quality, so basic hotel... 3 star hotel rather than 4. The bar and restaurant were closed during this Christmas period. Breakfast was of excellent quality and generous. Once we kept him for a few nights but he was not our favourite...

Very poor quality hotel for everything. I had to stay there for one night since my house in Grado had some issues with the heating. We are a family of 5 and requested to stay in one room and they refused it, so we had to take 2 rooms and me and my wife had to stay in separate rooms. The rooms are small, cold and full of very ancient and broken staff, including the heating system (we had less than 20 degrees in the room). Blankets are from the ‘80s, carpet is dirty. Breakfast is of lower quality than a 2 stars hotel everywhere else. Very bad experience overall (except for the kids who enjoyed staying in one bed in 3 for warming each other). We complained and the reply was even worse. Not to recommend.

Dieses Hotel ist meiner Meinung nach nicht einmal 1 Stern wert. Woher die 4-Sterne kommen, ist mir persönlich vollkommen unerklärlich. Wir haben auf der Heimfahrt spontan für 4 Nächte gebucht, um noch einige Tage unseres Urlaubes in Grado ausklingen zu lassen, da die Bilder auf *********** ansehnlich wirkten. Jedoch entsprechen diese Fotos IN KEINSTER WEISE der Realität! Zimmer im 6. Stock kostete 165 Euro, war eng wie eine Sardinendose, beklemmend dunkles Holz wie aus den 70er Jahren, Heizkörperabdeckung beim Eingang kaputt, die Matratzen aus billigem Schaumstoff waren so dermaßen durchgelegen wie eine Hängematte. Ganze Hotel wirkt grindig und muffig. Wir hätten es keine einzige Nacht in dieser Zelle ausgehalten und wollten nur einige Stunden nach der Reservierung stornieren, woraufhin uns die distanziert wirkende Rezeptionistin ein Upgrade anbot. Doch auch dieses Zimmer wirkte ebenso beklemmend und roch schlecht. Leider mussten wir 165 Euro Storno-Gebühr bezahlen, es gab seitens des Hotels keine Kulanz. Wir sind in unserem Leben schon sehr viel gereist und waren in Italien in wunderschönen 4 Sterne Hotels - das Fonzari gehört definitiv nicht dazu. Schade, doch Grado wird uns nie wieder sehen!

Abbiamo pernottato due notti in questa struttura posizionata nel centro di Grado e l'esperienza è stata molto positiva. Personale estremamente gentile e disponibile, la camera perfetta sia come dotazioni che come pulizia. Ottima la colazione sia salata che dolce. La struttura è sicuramente da suggerire per una vacanza nella bella Grado. Infine, tenuto conto del periodo in cui abbiamo soggiornato, molto buono il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Leider alles geschlossen: Restaurant zu, kein Pool u. d. Café ebenso, keine Bar abends, keine Sauna, nur im Nebenhotel f. 80.-/P. u. 2Std. / Tiefgarage extra 20.-/Tag. Schlechter Service u. keine Kompromisse möglich. Nicht mal e. Bettdecke war vorhanden; keine Minibar in d. Suite….f. mich e. Abzocke.

Ser netter Empfang, sofort ein Upgrade auf ein größeres Zimmer erhalten. Das gesamte Personal sehr freundlich, die Zimmer und das gesamte Hotel sehr sauber. Das Zimmer sehr geräumig, der Ausblick von der Dachterasse ein Traum. Das Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut und eine große Auswahl. Fahrräder kann man sich kostenlos oder günstig ausleihen. Ein toller Kurzurlaub in Grado, wir kommen wieder.
