This hotel was misrepresented as having a restaurant, room setvice, laundry, and a shuttle to the airport. It had NONE of these. My husband and I have mobility issues so the airport shuttle was a major factor when we chose the hotel in grado. As was the laundry as we were going on a cruise after our stay in grado On top of that the older desk clerk was extreme rude to us obviously forgetting we were the customers. My brother and his wife who came to see our place chose not to stay here because of. An interaction with this clerk We will be back to Grado but will never stay at the Abbazia hotel again even though cleanliness was good and location was great

Best thing about this hotel is definitely the indoor saltwater swimming pool on the 3rd floor which is large and sits under a beautiful roof of heavy wooden beams and glass panels. There’s also a lovely sun deck on the 4th floor. Otherwise it’s centrally located, near the beach and in the quiet pedestrianised area on the edge of the historic district so very convenient for bars and restaurants. Breakfast is unremarkable but charmingly they label a reserved table for your stay with your name and a greeting in your native language. Some rooms have balconies although there’s no sea view. Corridors recently decorated but our room’s decor was a little tired here and there and bathroom was small (plenty of space in room however). Double bed was two singles zipped together so a bit annoying but very comfortable. Large gap under bedroom doors mean little soundproofing with corridor but not a big problem as it’s generally a quiet place. Lounge/bar area is rather staid but there are lots of livelier places a short walk away. We enjoyed our stay.

Tolle zentrale Lage in Grado, alles geht zu Fuß. Zimmer sehr sauber, Bad neuwertig. Das Frühstück bietet eine umfangreiche Auswahl, Kaffeespezialitäten gibt es auf Wunsch (ohne Zusatzkosten). Insgesamt viel Leistung für den Preis und - wie Anfangs schon geschrieben- die Zentrale aber ruhige Lage ist absolut top.

Schon viele Jahre sind wir Gast im Hotel! Für uns total zentral gelegen, 100 m zum Strand und viele Geschäfte und Lokale in nächster Nähe. Ruhige, schöne Zimmer, ein sehr ausreichendes Frühstücksbuffett und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Für uns ein jährlicher Pflichttermin.

Zentral gelegenes und gut geführtes Hotel. Sehr nahe der Strandbäder. Sehr bemühtes Personal. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Einzelzimmer in sehr guter Ausstattung. Ausgezeichnetes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Schönes Hotel. Super Lage, weniger als zwei Minuten zum Strand und in die Fußgängerzone. Sehr nettes Personal und eine sehr freundliche Chefin. Schönes Zimmer mit neu renovierten Badezimmer. Super Frühstück mit viel frischen Obst, frischen Säften, verschiedenes Brot und Gebäck, frische Croissants und viel Kuchen, Müsli, Joghurt usw....

Sehr schönes Einzelzimmer mit Balkon. Bad komplett neu renoviert. Ruhige, super zentrale Lage. Zum Strand 3 Gehminuten. Strandpaket (Liege und Schirm) können direkt im Hotel gebucht werden. Nicht ganz billig, aber eine gute Lösung. Tipp: Essen in der Strandbar ist deutlich besser als in so manchen teuren Lokalen!! Frühstück im Hotel ist gut, Auto kann um 15€ pro Tag im Hotel geparkt werden. Ein nahegelegener Parkplatz 10 Gehminuten vom Hotel) ist um 5€ pro Tag natürlich deutlich günstiger. Insgesamt eine gute Wahl gewesen, ich komme gerne wieder.

Das Hotel hat zwar nicht die modernsten Möbel. Doch alles ist wunderbar erhalten. Wir hatten Zimmer 314 im 3. Stock mit kleinem Balkon. Danke dafür. Das Zimmer ist groß, das Bad war komplett neu, einzig das Bett knarzt schrecklich bei jeder Drehung. + Parkplatzbedarf bitte gleich bei der Reservierung angeben klappt dann einwandfrei + Frühstück ist sensationell. Ich verstehe hier die tlw schlechten Bewertungen absolut nicht. Wer sonst typisch italienisches Frühstück (1 Sorte Kaffee, 1 Sorte Wurst=Mortadella, 1 Sorte Käse, 1 Sorte Brot, mit viel Glück ein Croissant) kennt fühlt sich hier wie im Schlaraffenland. Freilich ist es kein Steigenberger aber die Auswahl ist fantastisch. Wem der Cafe Americano nicht schmeckt. Dem empfehle ich einen Espresso Dopio als Melange zu bestellen. Die Damen erfüllen einem jeden Wunsch und sind allesamt freundlich. - Das Hallenbad mit Meerwasser ist super. Schade nur, dass hier nur 3 Liegen sind, die immer belegt sind. + eine kleine Sonnenterrasse bietet etwas Platz zum Entspannen. + Das Hotel liegt in idealer Lage nur wenige Schritte in die Altstadt und ans Meer. - leider kein Privatstrand dabei. ich bilde mir ein, ich hatte das gelesen. In der Vorsaison aber auch kein Thema. Es ist überall Platz genug. +++ Fazit: tolles Hotel, netter Service, perfekte Lage, Preis-Leistung TOP!!! Danke an alle!!! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Hotel in una posizione ottima , vicinissimo al mare; Il nostro week end e stato ottimo, camere grandi con bagno/ doccia e finestra... Personale gentile e pronto ad aiutarti su qualsiasi situazione.. Colazione abbondante e molto varia sia salato che dolce.. Poi abbiamo usato le biciclette ( gratuitamente)per visitare più velocemente la citta bellissa cittadina accogliente e molto carina...Ci ritorneremo sicuramente...
