The Creekside Cricket is a cozy cabin is tucked away on a quiet country road at the edge of a lovely 9 acre parcel of land. The cabin has beautiful wood tile floors, a a large deck overlooking a babbling brook, a hot tub, fire pit, a small kitchen, tiled shower, washer/dryer. This cabin is pet friendly and offers comfort and style. With 200 sf of space and an open concept u have everything u need tucked away in this TINY HOUSE. Small in size it is large in upgrades and amenities. The kitchen offers granite counter tops, a small refrigerator, small stove, and microwave. There is a washer/dryer stack for convenience. The bathroom has a lovely tiled shower with custom pebble floor and a travertine vessel sink with granite counter. There is a comfy queen bed with gorgeous custom made wood headboard and matching end tables. There is a small dining set inside and an outside dining table and benches on the large deck. The deck also has a hot tub and fire pit. There is a lovely creek that flows right beside the cabin. This cozy cabin sits on the corner of a 9 acre parcel that offers rolling hills and a lovely forest. There is a farmhouse on the 9 acres that is also available to rent called the Firefly Haven Creekside Lodge. The property is really quiet and nice. The air conditioning is cold and the shower is wonderful. The wifi is adequate. The communication with the property owner was fantastic. Check in was easy.

Cool little cabin but there are some issues
I had a fantastic stay at this location. The cabin was clean, cozy, and provided ample parking for my truck with a trailer. The air conditioning was pleasantly cold, and the hot tub was a much-needed relief after a long 12 hour drive and a thrilling ride through the Tail of the Dragon.The convenience of having a general shop just 10 minutes away was a plus, and everyone at the property was friendly and welcoming.However, there were a few concerns during my stay. The seal on the mini fridge was faulty, requiring me to prop a small chair against the door to ensure my food and drinks stayed cold. Additionally, the cabin had a strong odor of cigarette smoke, particularly when I turned on the shower vent. Unfortunately, this resulted in all of my and my girlfriend’s clothes absorbing the smell, even after keeping the windows open all day and running the fan continuously.Another issue was with the lighting—when dimmed to the lowest setting, the lights flickered excessively, though they functioned properly when fully turned on.Also I'm not sure if the cabin was supposed to be tilted, but from the moment you walk in you can definitely tell the cabin is slanted toward the door and porch. Messed with my balance for a second until I got used to it. Despite these concerns, the overall experience was enjoyable, and the location had several positive attributes that made the stay worthwhile.

Wonderful place to detach and relax
Perfect place to get away from the daily routine to relax and enjoy nature. Lots of places to visit and enjoy the magnificent scenery at the same time. Cute place and big enough for a couple to spend quality time together watching tv, cooking, grilling sitting by the fire pit and the wonderful hot tub!! Had some questions and Shelby got back right away and was super friendly. We'll definitely come back again.

Cute little getaway
We booked for a week long anniversary trip. We usually camp/backpack but wanted something more comfy this year. Perfect for hiking and soothing muscles afterwards in the hot tub under the stars!! The road in front of the place had a rather large ditch probably due to water erosion, but that’s not the owners fault!

Creekside Cricket Cabin
It was exactly as it was described. One room studio cabin and great to have stove and hot tub. It was extremely difficult to get our trailer up to it and barely turned around, so I would suggest only bringing a car or truck (do not bring a trailer!) cabin was just as it was described and AC was great.

Thank you to the cleaning lady for helping making it happen. My wife is very very happy with everything, and thank you for the flowers. Many things to do and see in very close vicinity. The property is very nice for two ppl, comfortable, everything work, nice and clean. Was a good time to spent together building our relationship.
