Hotel Jardín Garden de Granada Nicaragua

I was unable to sleep in my room because the ceiling was infested with bats, and I heard them clawing and squeaking all night. After bringing it to the attention of the staff, it became clear that they not only are aware of the problem, but they will not even admit that it has caused their guests a negative experience (I am not the only one who complained during my stay! The couple in the room next to me said the same thing), and they certainly have done nothing to rectify it. The hotel staff have proceeded to harass me on my personal cell phone number (texts and calls) months after my stay in response to reviews I have left on other platforms. I have had to block three different numbers. This is unprofessional at best and abusive at worst. I loved my time in Nicaragua but this has easily been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in over a decade of international travel. They will probably respond to this review with more harassment, and I will block those numbers too. I will not stop posting reviews until they stop abusing my personal contact information. Other guests deserve to know that this is the type of treatment they will get if they stay here. Book this hotel at your own risk.

Booked a room here for one night at short notice after problems at our initial accommodation. We were delighted to find a friendly team, great rooms, nice sheets on the big comfy bed, hot showers, lovely gardens & pool area. Wish we had come here in the begining. We had to leave early the next morning so missed breakfast - they couldn't do enough to help us, ensuring we had drinks before we left. High standards & quality, very deserving of its good rating.

I spent several days at this wonderfully welcoming and peaceful hotel before starting a road trip. Pool area is pristine as are the comfortable rooms. Breakfast was really good and staff were incredibly helpful. I booked a very good value and reliable airport transfer through the hotel and made use of the reasonably priced laundry service too. The hotel is family owned and they take great pride in hosting guests.

I stayed for four nights the first week of May and it was a great choice! Everyone who works there are super nice and you can tell that are genuine. Very polite and helpful. Breakfast is perfect. The rooms are very clean, good size, and very comfortable. My room had a beautiful view of the pool and the volcano in the background. I highly recommend! And the dogs are a plus!

Marcia and Michael are the best. This is the best place to stay in Granada - I highly recommend. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, the pool is amazing, and I loved the breakfast place. 100 per cent recommend this place!

I found perfection in the Hotel Jardin de Granada, Nicaragua. The place is gorgeous they paid attention to every detail as they created this gorgeous refuge. The view of the volcanos and the city with all the amazing green vegetation is simply incredible. The owners Marcia and Michael are fantastic I can’t sing enough of their praises. Moving in permanently would be the only correct thing to do…
