Went with a Tour group, the rooms were terrible and unsafe, mine had the light switch hanging loose with wires exposed had to change shower was also dangerous and difficult to acess with no hand rail and danger of slipping. A third was to be found but didn't materialise. Food and drinks were poor and overpriced breakfast was not available until an hour after the advertised time Staff often difficult to locate. Pool was OK although there were 3 crabs in it.

This could be a very nice hotel. Unfortunately, the facilities are in bad shape, and this is not only a question of budget, but also willingness to care - as an example, the amount of (mostly plastic) trash not only on the public beach outside the hotel, but also on the private beach area and gardens is disgusting and totally unworthy of the prices charged. Also we experienced service as slow and repeatedly needing reminders. The room is clean, but the plumbing would need an update as we woke multiple times during the night due to the toilet making bizarre (and very loud) noises.

We paid ahead of time, had an agreement with them but they refund to make refund to us. They kept saying that their account is having issue but this is 4 months now and still they haven't done the refunds

Thank you to the entire team of this hotel who welcomed my mother D.Cissé during her first stay in Ivory Coast. They all took great care of her and were a great help to her. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I hope to have the opportunity to stay there myself during a future visit.

Absolutely avoid. We are allowed to settle in and once in the pool we are told that access is chargeable, and even if we are having lunch at the hotel. Ok to pay for swimming pool access when the setting is worth it. But there, the swimming pool is in a pitiful state of maintenance and cleanliness. The same goes for the apatam under which meals are served. Holes in the roof... Not to mention the ridiculously reduced menu choice. I strongly advise you to go your way. There is no shortage of cool places in Bassam.

Contente d'y venir, cependant déception à l'entrée de la chambre moisissures +++, humidité dans la chambre, traces sur les murs... La porte donnant accès sur le balcon ne se ferme pas à cause de la moisissures et l'humidité qui a mangé l'encadrement de la porte en bois. Salle de bain poufff une horreur l'eau qui vient petit à petit il est préférable de prendre une douche dans la mer. Besoin de renouveler l'hôtel. Cependant personnel agréable, souriant et charmant. Piscine agréable malgré l entretien qui laisse à Désirer présence de sable à l'intérieur. Le cadre aux alentours et un dépaysement total. Pour le prix franchement... Petit déjeuner payant avec peu de choix.

Je suis allé déjeuner un dimanche midi à l'hôtel Etoile du sud. Nous étions 2 adultes et 3 jeunes enfants. Malheureusement on ne pouvait pas manger à la carte. Bref on a dû prendre 5 menus (buffet à volonté) : 2 x 15000 + 3 x 10 000 FCFA= 60 000 FCFA plus les boissons non incluses. Bref c'est cher par rapport à d'autres endroits voisins qui eux aussi ont vue sur la même plage et ont aussi une piscine. Sachant que les jeunes enfants mangent peu. J'y suis allé pour tester l'endroit. Le lieu est joli, la nourriture bonne mais c'est cher par rapport aux voisins. Bref je n'y retournerai pas à cause du prix. Autre remarque : je vois des avis très positifs de gens qui ne publient jamais d'autres avis. Faut-il en tenir compte ???
