Fantastic and unique accommodation. Jem is an extremely attentive and helpful host. The accommodation is basic and clean and we had access to a communal fridge. Make sure to ask about the turtle sanctuary and walking to the nearby falls. Plenty to do in the area. Jem is a great chef and the surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. He is a mine of local information and was generous with his time and advice. Coming by zipline is great fun!

This is a fantastic place. If you love rivers, swimming, hiking, jungle, just being in a wild place that is a fun adventure just to get to, you should spend a few days here. At least. We stayed in the rose cottage and loved it. The jungle is all around but it is a benign jungle. No bugs! The nearby coastline is also fantastic and the villages and local people are warm and welcoming. Jem is great and has a great relationship with his staff. The inconvenience of access by zip line is nothing next to the fun and adventure of it. It’s exciting but safe. More people should stay at three rivers!

We loved our time at 3 Rivers. We stayed for 5 nights and we thought that was a good amount of time to relax, hike around the property, and swim. The first two nights we stayed in the tent. The best part of the tent was hearing the jungle noises at night. We moved to the lime apartment for the other 3 nights. It had a small kitchen, private bathroom, and deck with a hammock and chair. The price for both accommodations were fair. The food was much better than we expected. Jem is a great cook and prepared something different every day. His vegetarian shepherd's pie, pizza, and chocolate cake were especially good. There is an extra fee for vegetarian meals, but he only charged us extra when he had to make a separate dish just for us, which only ended up being a few dinners. The zipline-only access made it extra special. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a no-frills place with basic accommodations to relax in a natural setting.

Absolutely delightful and memorable lodging experience in Dominica! Jim has built something really special here, with wonderful surroundings, super friendly & helpful staff, great meals and drink (get one of the rum punches - or all of them), and a super good value. Zip lining in and out of the property adds to the fun. We found our cabin to be super comfortable and clean with good water pressure - it was surprising how cool the temperature got a few hours after sunset. Any trip to Dominica should include a stay at 3 Rivers... in our case, we rented a car (4x4 required) and drove - it's only about 50 mins from the airport.
