Step back in time to a nice, quiet little family-run motel. Clean, tidy, attractive, seemed well maintained. The price was good, bed quite comfortable, Ivana at the front desk welcoming and helpful. The bathroom appeared to have new fixtures and was perfectly clean. The HVAC hummed along nicely with no quirks, moans or buzzes to manage (this is big for me). You can tell they take pride in "doing it right."

We stayed here one night while passing through Grand Junction on a road trip. It was a lovely motel with all the amenities one might need. Very comfortable bed, updated bathroom, lovely furnishings. The owner/hostess was very welcoming and helpful.

This is a 50s style motel, one story with rooms around a parking area. Very retro, but our room was okay, albeit small. The wall AC worked okay. Shower/tub and bathroom were small but they worked too. Wifi was fine. Just fine if you are okay with retro. How retro? The rooms have keys!

Old style one-story motel where you park outside the room. Friendly check-in (by owner I believe). Limited check-in hours which end at 10:30 pm. Rooms are nicely decorated and clean, with all appliances and wifi working well including the A/C. Nice linens and bedding was comfortable. No breakfast is offered and the pool did not appear to be open. This seems to be a somewhat sketchy part of Grand Junction but I had no issues during my stay. (I always remove any valuables overnight if I get this kind of vibe). I believe the price is reflective of the accommodation relative to other choices in Grand Junction. I would stay there again.

We always stay here when in Grand Junction. The rooms are so clean and comfortable and the owner is very kind. Nice firm beds with high quality bedding and pillows. The bathrooms are big enough, and immaculate, including the shower curtain. Nice tv and high speed internet. Downtown is a quick drive or uber up the road. The price is beyond reasonable! Highly recommend !!

We stayed here overnight in October. Palomino is an older style motel but we found it clean, tidy and comfortable. The check in staff were friendly and helpful. Our room had a good size fridge/freezer which we used, plus good TV and WIFI. The shower was nice and hot. We found the bed comfortable for a good night sleep. Despite being close to a busy road we were not disturbed by traffic noise. The bathroom being small had little room for toiletries, but as we only stayed overnight, not much of a problem. A good overnight stay here.

I attempted to pay for a two night stay for a relative who was in town. I was denied the opportunity because the person staying in the room is the one who has to use their credit card. Ridiculous really, turning down full up front payment. Not recommended if you are looking to have family stay in town, better to go somewhere else. Unfortunate

The Palomino is older and the pool is not open, but it's clean, comfortable, and very reasonably priced. The owners are on-site and take good care of the property and guests. Don't hesitate to stay there.
